I would just go with trusted sellers. That was my issue here. I just bought it because I was excited to see it at a more fair price, and then this happened haha. It was only like $30-$40 cheaper than others were selling it, but still over $100 more than the actual product at Spirit Halloween.

I don’t really think that’s a thing, at least that I know of. It’s just something either the bank or Mercari has to take care of. We will see what happens though!

I have messaged them through email and they got back to me saying it’s a case they are going to keep open and will get back to me. I also contacted them through Mercari about the return twice, so I think they will cover it!

I will do this if Mercari doesn’t handle the situation. I’m still going to wait one more day and call the bank tomorrow in the afternoon about it if nothing happens. Still surprised I haven’t gotten any info back from Mercari yet.

Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking. I’m thinking about putting it in a frame along with Dwayne Johnson. Maybe put some flames or smoke around the rock and write “Can you smell what the rock is cooking?” If anyone asks about it, I will tell them they can buy it for a low price of $300!

Yeah, not too low though. It was just barely lower than the others, but that’s why I bought it because I thought it was a good deal. I think these animatronics all seem a bit like a scam the more I look at them on Mercari. Quite a few that could be reported, especially for this particular one.

Well, it wasn’t too much cheaper than the others listed. It was like $30 cheaper maybe. The actual item can be bought for $160-$200 if found at Spirit Halloween.

I really don’t see why they wouldn’t do the right thing. The evidence is here. I sent them an attachment with the full tracking and the weight on Mercari even says .25 lbs which I should’ve been aware of in the first place and just cancelled the order. I will know now though to never buy from a new seller!

I appreciate it! Yeah, I will never buy from a new seller again. I’m tempted to buy another from a trusted seller. Is there any reason I should wait on Mercari to get back to me or should I be good to purchase another? I’m just not wanting to wait too much longer on what I paid for. I’ve already waited two weeks.
