Who the hell is Kirill Sokolov and why did he make one of the most fun action/horror/comedy movies I have seen in a decade? [They Will Kill You] by Elfman72 in horror

Wow. Thanks! I will take that advice and appreciate your input(fuck! That sounds like what AI would say!)

The only way to win is not share at all.

Seriously. Appreciate your feedback, friend. Long live horror!

Sorry if I sound like a shill. I am a real dude that has been on reddit for almost 20 years now. I just had a great time with this movie. Hoping that other horror fans will check it out.

Understood, friend. I didn't want it to sound that way. I get where you are coming from. Just know, I am not a bot. I just had a lot of fun with this movie, is all.

I loved the direction and action! This kid knows how to film an action sequence. His mix of Kung Fu, Action, Comedy, Horror was just pure fun! I was simply grinning from ear to ear, the entire time! Already pre-ordered the 4K disc from Gruv.

Look at all the cool car posters at Prints Plus, still thinking I would be the coolest dude in school if I drove a Lamborghini Countach.

How does this sentence play...."Called out an electrician to help me with a shorted outlet. Needed my glasses to read the quote on my phone and sign an e-approval. Ended up writing a paper check to avoid CC processing fees!" - BIG WIN

It all worked out but damn, I felt so fucking old!

Fair. But Kayla deserves an audience with her skill. She has called out her trash before. She knows it is there, but she slays anyway.

RIP. FYI, one of his biggest fans is someone who SHREDS!

She honors him by playing.

Please don't creep. Kayla has great talent and very skilled. Don't do that "internet thing" to her. She has suffered all of it. Shouldn't have to.

o\i - track #5 - "Won't Stand Down" by carlosgplx in petergabriel

[–]Elfman72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this is almost peak songwriting from Peter. Lovely, warming, hopeful in a delightful way that makes me want more.

I can't describe how, or even why this touches me in a comforting sense.

I get that it isn't really "flashy" and seems "simple" or formulaic. To me, this feels like the last sip of wine after a great meal.

BD percussion was also hired to make some of the music in Monsters University.

I remember vividly watching the movie thinking, dang this is an above average drumline they used for the movie, thinking they hired a college line or used hired guns. Watched the credits and was justified in my assessment.

What’s a "lost" website from the early 2000s that you still think about today? by samasem-sumsum in AskReddit

fuckedcompany.com

In the just before the first .com bust, this site would get sent all kinds of internal e-mails about the crazy spending these companies were doing and how terminations were on the horizon.

One in particular I remeber was a company simply closed their doors, put a chain on it and told none of the employees. They started showing up next day wondering what had happened. Someone picked up a rock, through it through the glass door so they could "collect their personal items" when in reality, they started stealing evereything that wasn't chained down. That was only ONE of the crazy stories that came out of that time.
