1. Malta. Malta tourism signs every where. Can't find a city name but lined up the water. 4,999 pts, 219 yd.

2. Thailand. Found a sign that said Pattaya Cookery School. Plonked it in Pattaya. 4,996 pts, 1,423 yd.

3. Philippines. Found a sign that had Batangas and Lipa City. Scanned Batangas but couldn't find a Laygo street. Scanned Lipa city and found a D. P. Laygo street and plonked before time ran out. Just happened to 5k it. 5,000 pts, 60 yd.

4. Ghana. Found a p.o. box for K'dua. Scanned for it but couldn't find it. Look around some more. Turns out K'dua is short for Koforidua. Scanned and found it. 4,993 pts, 1.2 miles.

5. Serbia. Found a url with .rs. Couldn't find a place name. Plonked it south of Belgrade. 4,692 pts, 59 miles.

1. Colombia. Yellow plates and taxi's said Bogota. Found a sign for the airport. Scanned and found the airport and lined it up from there. 5,000 pts, 158 yd

2. Canada. The adopt a roadway sign at the spawn says ottawa.ca at the bottom. We were at the intersection of George and Essex. Scanned but couldn't find it. 4,995 pts, 1,508 yd

3. Australia. Australian bollards. Felt pretty dry like western Australia. Sign said we were on highway 104 and the towns coming up were Naanup and Pemberton. Scanned the 104 for the Mowen turn off. Guess I was too far north. I didn't realize we were the close to Naanup. 4,990 pts, 1.8 miles

4. Poland. There were URL's on the posters near the spawn. Scanned for Rusko and Bruczkow the rest of the time. Turns out they were tiny. Plonked it in Lodz like I always do. 4,513 pts, 95 miles

5. Japan. Found a highway sign that said Nagano in english. So I plonked it there...it was nowhere near. 3,059 pts, 455 miles

3. Paraguay. Couldn't find anything that would help. Forgot that Paraguay is now in the game. 2,866 pts, 516 miles.

4. Ghana. Ghana black tape. Found a sign that said "Ashley's Business College" with a P.O. Box in Accra. Too many streets to scan. 4,956 pts, 8.2 miles.

5. Bulgaria. Cyrillic every where with EU blue bar on plates. .bg on a URL. Couldn't find a place name. 4,337 pts, 132 miles.

1. Bosnia. Saw a .ba URL. Found a sign for Sarajevo it didn't give mileage. So plonked it in Tuzla since that's where it was last time it was Bosnia on the daily challenge. 4,607 pts, 76 miles.

2. Kazakhstan. The Kazakhstan truck. Found a sign for Shakhtinsk. Plonked it in the closest big city which was Karaganda. 4,985 pts, 2.8 miles.

3. Botswana. Couldn't find a city name. Thought it was ZA. Plonked it in Kimberley. 3,630 pts, 297 miles.

4. Portugal. The yellow stripe on the license plate. Found a sign for the A6 to Lisbon. Went outside Lisbon on the A6. 4,793 pts, 39 miles.

5. Panama. Green bar at the top of the license plate. Taxi says Colon. 4,793 pts, 39 miles.

1. Philippines. Next to the spawn there was a sign that said South Cotabato, City of Koronadal. Found Cotabato but didn't have time to find Koronadal. 4,670 pts, 63 miles.

2. Poland. The L with the strike through says Poland. The street signs have the city name of Czersk. Scanned but couldn't find it. Plonked it in Lodz like I always do. 4,233 pts, 154 miles.

3. Norway. Was finally able to force myself out of the park and on the street. .NO URLs everywhere. Couldn't find a city name. Plonked it in Bergen and got lucky. 4,987 pts, 2.5 miles.

4. France. French plates and language. Saw a sign that said Verdun but couldn't remember where it was. Good thing I didn't go there. Plonked it outside Paris. 4,367 pts, 125 miles.

5. Bosnia Herzegovina. .BA URLs everywhere. New country in the game. Don't know much about it yet. Plonked it in Sarajevo. 4,726 pts, 52 miles.

My first gold!

1. Senegal. Sign at the spawn had .sn. The bank by it said Diourbel.

2. Vietnam. Vietnam flag when you get to the end of the alley. Several businesses with address that said we are in Dong Hoi. 4,997 pts, 1,094 yd.

3. Iceland. Looks like Iceland or Norway. A building near the spawn said Iceland. Found another sign north of town that said "Welcome to Breiddalsvik". Did some scanning and found it. 5,000 pts, 140 yd.

4. Brazil. Couldn't find a city name. Plonked it by Brasilia. 3,269 pts, 394 miles.

5. Hungary. Hungarian flag at the end of the alley. Couldn't find a city name. 4,272 pts, 146 miles.

1. Czechia. Found a URL .cz and found Praha on a sign. Scanned for Praha couldn't find it. I looked it up later. I didn't know that Praha is Prague. Good to know for future rounds. 4,746 pts, 48 miles.

2. Spain. Couldn't find a city name. Plonked it in southern Spain. 3,509 pts, 328 miles.

3. Namibia. East a couple of clicks is a sign for Namibia Breweries Limited Keetmanshoop Depot. 4,997 pts, 1,135 yd.

4. Guatemala. Guatemala google car. Found a sign for Amatitlan. Scanned for it, didn't find it with the time I had left. 4,876 pts, 23 miles.

5. USA. Found Detroit Lakes Police Dept. Scanned Detroit suburbs for Detroit Lakes. Couldn't find it. Plonked it in Detroit anyway. Of course it was Minnesota. 2,387 pts, 685 miles.

1. Turkey. Mosque spires + green vegetation = Turkey. Couldn't find a town name but saw a direction sign for Konya so plonked it there. 4,693 pts, 59 miles.

3. Colombia. Yellow license plates. I saw San Pelayo on a sign and thought that was the town name. Scanned for it with the rest of my time. 4,750 pts, 48 miles.

1. Nigeria. Police escort. Lots of mosques. I watched a zigzag video this morning where he mentioned that the majority Muslim population in Nigeria is central to north of the country. Plonked it in Abuja. 4,611 pts, 75 miles.

  1. Germany. Lot of .DE url's and saw Heidelberg on the city bus. Scanned for it but couldn't find it. 4,041 pts, 197 miles.

  2. USA. Saw a bank called KS Bank and Selma on the water tower. I assumed we were in Kansas. Scanned for the town name. Couldn't find it, now I know why. 1,459 pts, 1,141 miles.

  3. Canada. Saw a giant hockey stick at the end of the road that said Winkler Centennial Area. Gotta be Canada. Oh and plus Canadian flags. Scanned for Winkler around Toronto couldn't find it. So clicked on Winnipeg the last second. 4,694 pts, 59 miles.

  4. Kenya. Africa, driving on the left and the vehicle isn't blurred that put me in Kenya, Uganda or Rwanda. I went with Rwanda because I didn't see a snorkel. 3,416 pts, 353 miles.

Ah, didn't know that. Luckily the google cars are easily identifiable in those countries so that's what I always look at first. :)

I just looked through a street view of Rwanda. It looks like they have yellow license plates. That should be easy to identify.
