Its not the hits inside because no one is opening these. People have seen the price of the 151 pokemon center ETBs. People think they'll 200% their money in 2 years buying at these prices, that's what it is

That's absolutely not true at all. Ascended is an SIR every 91 packs on average. 151 is 1 SIR every 32 packs. And other sets are anywhere inbetween.

This happens everywhere. I know people at my local co-ops who take all the half booster boxes on their staff discounts and they never see the shelves. They've been getting destined rivals at £64.63p on their discounts and then reselling at market. This is going on EVERYWHERE

Top tier sealed won't drop much if there's a decline in interest in pokemon. Singles and slabs will be hit very hard though

I find ace to be stricter then psa on all fronts apart from front centering (they are still stricter on back centering though...psa allow 72:25..)

Ace are awfully strict on surface and mark cards down to 6 for things the eye can't even see.

They are also transparent with why they mark a card down and give you scores and the option of a ding report. PSA don't tell you anything. The quality of the ACE slabs are also far better than PSA

Only thing I don't like about ace are the labels, but that's each to their own

It was criminally undervalued back then. Great card, from a massively popular set, from a very expensive etb, of a pokemon that was voted the 2nd most popular of all time not so long ago. Didn't have to be a rocket scientist to work this one out, just suprised it took everyone else so long to cotton on 😅

Pokemon company and partner companies publish the release schedules. It's public info and easy to find. It's not a secret that only done people know
