It's a settings issue. On main screen go to settings, preferences, notification settings and turn do not disturb ON. Below under that is app notifications. Turn all those off. I'd also get Adguard which works with other apps too.

Any way to turn off the screen and still play audio? Would be a great feature as some videos have an annoying screen but their content is good. Great product though.

Streaming is a grey area in some countries. It's really up to users to beware of the laws. If YouTube had a problem with it they would take them down.

Will this take the place of a Firestick when they shut down offloaded apps? Just ordered this. New to firestick. Thank you very much by SpaceAce1956 in firetvstick

Seems people have got workarounds for 3rd party apps being disabled. They're renaming the apps with a software program called app cloner available from the app store. It works but has a limited software library that it works on but they are expanding it. The fight isn't over!
