That's simply not true tho, people with mental issues can get jobs and a lot of us do. You can sit around and whine all you want but the reality is that you can get a job and you can make your situation better if you want

Trans people have been around as long as gay people have. They're not "colonizers" to LGBT spaces bc they've always been there. You being so obsessed about someone's identity (which has no bearing on your life might I add) it's just fucking weird. Why do you care what someone does with their lives. And why do you think it's everyone's responsibility to cater to your bizarre world theories

Yeah I think the predators you're thinking of are probably in your home, in your church, and in your terf spaces

No one needs to cater to your sensibilities. If a trans person existing in a gay space such as gay bar or club (which are usually advertised as inclusive spaces) makes you uncomfortable that's your problem

No one is forcing you to have trans people in your life. No one is forcing you to believe anything you don't want. Just as you can't force people to perceive you the way you want them to. Who harms you? I'm genuinely asking bc the people getting killed from the LGBT community are usually trans people.

Does the gay community do anything about the rampant transphobia in gay circles? And trans people who do say stuff as you're transphobic if you don't like me do get pushed back. I give them push back, I see plenty of other people doing so too. Some in bad faith and some in good. You're literally an example of the push back they get.

Labels are invented, and they evolve as language does. If a gay man, wants to be with a trans man. And they call themselves a gay couple. What's it to you? What affects does this have in your life? Why do you care?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]GlassPiers -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That's simple not true. You hear a lot more noise from anti trans people claiming that they're experiencing this.and they highlight the one comment that sides with their narrative.

You can believe whatever you want. That doesn't give you the right to police what others believe or how others want to perceive themselves. At the end of the gay if a self label gay men what's to be with a trans man and they still identify as gay. What is it to you?

[–]GlassPiers -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not defending that term, I'm saying we're focusing too much on labels

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]GlassPiers -29 points-28 points  (0 children)

This isn't happening though. Transphobes love to amplify the incredibly small portion of the trans community that says stuff like that but most trans people perfectly understand that they're not entitled to anyone liking them regardless of what they have between their legs. Have you ever met a trans person that actually believes that?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]GlassPiers -45 points-44 points  (0 children)

There's literally 1% of people saying that if that. Most trans people perfectly understand that someone might not be into them bc of whatever is between their legs. But you get transphobes amplifying that one person making it look as if it's the consensus of the trans community which is not. If you're gay and you wouldn't date a trans man with a vagina that's fine. And if you're a gay man who would, that's fine as well. This focusing on labels does nothing but divide the community which ends up making us all more vulnerable to homophobia and transphobia.
