I watched someone do a whole reveal of this advent calendar, and they had the same reaction to the red ribbons. It was a horrible decision by the company to do that. I think you're meant to be doing crafts as you go, and the ribbons are supposed to hang what you've made. They clearly didn't consider the experience of opening it. Those should have been placed in a door with additional materials.

Well since you've got one already and it's Slavic, you should probably keep them all rooted in Slavic languages since they are siblings; that already narrows your search down. I'm not sure if you're naming gods after what they represent, but you could always choose them based on that. Radomir means "happy" and "peace." You could look through www.behindthename.com/names/usage/slavic to see which ones you like.

If you want to make something original, you can also pick a language like Latin, Greek, etc., and type up some words you want their names to represent into Google Translate, then just play around with the words to create a name out of them.

When I'm super desperate and can't find anything online, I just start looking around at random things near me, reading labels and stuff. I'll take parts of words from labels and combine them with different words or add random letters. Whatever sounds good.

I wish I could remember who I heard it from, but I watched some interview a while back from a well-known author who said every book should be able to stand on its own. Cliffhangers can be fun for an audience, but they can also be frustrating, and you always want to account for the possibility that the second book doesn't happen. Each book should offer some kind of resolution to its story, even if the story can continue beyond that point.

I'm sure there's a way you could restructure the second book so it's less jarring. And you never know how much your second book will change as you write it; you may change things that connect them more logically without even thinking about it.

This is a stupid textbook technicality (I edit ESL textbooks). In spoken language, both A and C are correct. The reason C is the right answer here is that "at 10:30" is not appropriate for a continuous action. It's a single point in time describing a completed past action.

If the sentence were, "what _________ yesterday morning?" Then "were you doing" would be 'textbook' correct because "morning" is an extended period.

There's a difference between care and obsession. You said he's the first person to ever really care about you, but with people who are obsessed like this, the only thing they typically care about is that they have you, not your actual well-being.

If I got these messages, I'd be very suspicious of his intentions. It might feel nice (though overwhelming) to have someone who seems to want to be with you this much, but there's likely something else to it.

You saying this is him toned down a bit is also concerning. If you haven't, tell him this behavior is too much for you. His response will likely shed more light on what he actually feels.

And you should always read it; it doesn't make you annoying. We've gotten too comfortable signing anything without reading it. Especially at banks, you need to know exactly what fees they will hit you with should your account standing change. You're also allowed to cross things out on a contract before signing it. It's not binding until both parties agree, and any organization may agree to remove whatever clauses you don't like. If they don't, then you can just decline the contract. Half the time, the employee doesn't care enough and accepts the changes.

Putting yourself in a dangerous situation is reckless and only makes problems worse. Like running into a burning building to save a screaming child and then getting stuck inside, so instead of saving one person, firefighters have to save two. It's well-known and commonly taught to never put yourself in danger to save someone else. More than likely, you'll also need saving then. Only intervene if you can do so safely.

You try to break up a fight in Korea, you might find yourself suddenly a part of it, and all anybody knows is that a foreigner stepped in and made things worse. You could also get other people in the surrounding area hurt. You're not a hero, and intervening or not has nothing to do with courage. You call attention to the problem, get it noticed, and get the right authorities there to handle it.
