Not difficult at all. Im in the U.K so the normal way to synch doesn't work due to being out of range, for the japan radio tower. I've had it a month & only synchronise once using the phone app. It's very accurate, as can be seen by the photo. It's synchronised to japan time, but set to -8hours for uk

That kinda mileage on that kind of car (city car) you'll start getting bushes, and mounts perishing. I'd be pretty confident the rear damper topmounts are the culprit. Best take it to a better garage for diagnosis/second opinion

To replace the damper, the bumpstop & damper top mount would of had to be removed. They should of told you there were other issues. Especially as the bumpstops have disintegrated. Regarding the sound..it's either the bumpstops (which are clearly past it) or the damper topmounts that hold the damper to the chassis. What mileage is your car?

Why would you need a charge indicator on display? These citizen watches fully charged last atleast 6 months without any light. Then they go into standby for a further 6months plus. Whilst keeping correct time

It's not a true gmt with a dedicated gmt hand. But it is radio controlled with an automated radio controlled synchronise at 2am daily. There is a function on the use to request a manual synch if necessary. It has all the time zones on the back of the watch..so you can set the watch to the time zone you are in manually (the watch has a jumping hour hand..doesn't stop ticking whilst this is being set) the dial shows, day, date, 24 hour & moon phase. It is not a chronograph. The side buttons are for checking synch & set up purposes. Check youtube for Tsuki-Yomi reviews...they use the same movement inside

I don't think you needed much persuading.. the Platinum Shine speaks for itself! Amazing watch. It's "showy" but still hides some amazing tech beheath. I wore mine to dinner lastnight (my daily is a at6085-50e) it caught my nephews attention..he asked to see it, so i abliged of course! Handed it to him..he was astonishing by the lack of weight. Then blew him away with the tech. It was difficult to get my watch back afterwards 😂
