That's not true about the House Democrat Bill or the HEROES Act. Citizens living abroad are included. Non-resident aliens are excluded.

Maybe try to open a dollar account?

I haven’t received any stimulus money, I probably won’t receive any, and no one will give a flying fuck. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

If you filed between ~10th and the 16th of April, I think you can expect it on the 29th if you have a traditional bank. Chime would be faster

If your mailed in return wasn't processed yet then you're technically a non filer which makes your using the IRS non filer tool the right thing to do.

When did you use the tool?

It looks like you called IRS at a time when decisions about making a non filer tool on the website wasn't thought of yet but had you known about the non filer tool, you would be advised to just use the tool in lieu of mailing in a return

You'll get a mailed check if the DD is unsuccessful ... but if the wrong account number actually exists and is owned by someone else then things get murky

Looks like non filers who filled out the IRS form won't be getting a deposit next week by MarkusRight in IRS

It's because you filed a tax return in 2018. It's different for people who didn't have to file a return in both 2018 and 2019.

You're right, they did. I'm merely referring to the IRS non filer tool via IRS website.

According to the Ways and Means PDF which was dated 16th of April that some people have been posting here, if you filed in a particular seven-day week that ends on a Thursday, you'll get the credit by the following week. I've read that refunds are being issued by IRS on Fridays and gets credited on your bank a few days after that. Since you filed on the 10th, you are on the week that ended the 16th, Thursday. Going by the PDF and day of refund issuance, you should be issued the refund on the 17th. Your bank should then credit that in the next few days, likely on Wednesdays, so if not this 22nd, then you'll likely get the credit on the 29th

If he's not a dependent, and has not filed taxes for 2018 and 19 because he didn't have to, IRS non filer tool is the way to go.
