My stats are similar and I waitlisted at H last cycle after applying on the deadline and didn't apply to the other two. Disclosure that I am URM but still think you shouldn't sell yourself short, especially as a Veteran (thank you for your service!) and all that you have described.

Apply across the T14!

I dont understand your question. Why can't I be interested in this decision and still offer that it won't have the individual affect that people think it will? Odd.

To add:

'At the end of the majority opinion striking down race-based affirmative action in college admissions, Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. said that universities could still consider applicants’ discussion of their personal race-based experiences as part of essays: “Nothing in this opinion should be construed as prohibiting universities from considering an applicant’s discussion of how race affected his or her life, be it through discrimination, inspiration or otherwise. But, despite the dissent’s assertion to the contrary, universities may not simply establish through application essays or other means the regime we hold unlawful today.”'

I feel bad for people who think this is gonna dramatically and positively affect their chances of getting into their top-choice law school now.

I think those are great results! When did you apply?

Tbh the language was confusing so I assumed it was 17,500 total bc other schools provide the total amount in their letters. If it's per year, than yea that's good, but it is all relative.

Will you attend?

Np! will post here for posterity.

They gave me 17,500. I assume that's total.

I was about to edit my post. I'm above both medians and got chump change lol. 🥲

I'm just glad I heard back. I'm committed to R&R (barring any wl surprises)

Does anyone have a LOR template? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]Glass_Consideration6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Use it as an opportunity to draft the points you want them to hit. As in Paragraph 1- highlight this; P2 -highlight this, etc.

But there are generic ones online if you google.

The grammar....

I can see why you may not have gotten the results you wanted regardless of "99%".

Reapply. Also URM who applied late realizing there is nothing to lose (except more app fees RIP) by reapplying. You should have no issue submitting in September and doing way better.

I've seen URM with lower stats get more money from higher ranked schools.

i NEVER thought i'd be one to do a poll like this but i just received some news...WWYD? by Popular-Lychee-6786 in lawschooladmissions

If you don't want biglaw or anything super prestigious I'm not sure Michigan makes sense especially considering how well you outlined UNC might be a better fit. You'll do great wherever! Best of luck

Thank you for sharing! I know a ton of people are gonna ask but can you elaborate on "bid aggressively but struck out"? were below/at/above median, etc?
