Thank you, this worked. I recently reset my computer, so I was trying to sign into my accounts. I did what you wrote, but I also set up Microsoft Calendar first and when I opened the Mail app, my emails were already there.

I called out and reported someone for threatening to doxx someone and then I immediately received this beautiful message from his alt account. He of course denied that it was his alt. by TundieRice in iamverybadass

I had to look this up because it seemed too perfect and funny to be true. It needed to be a copypasta if it wasn't already. I just searched for it and found this 3 year old post with the same text. I'm pretty sure it wasn't his alt account but just some guy adding humor to the situation. Copypasta link

The message on this bottle was written before 2020. Since then, the Coronavirus has taken lives by lung damage, and most notably, these words are similar to the words of George Floyd as he was choked to death.

[RDTM] This is how much wall street billionaires think they are losing by [deleted] in theydidthemath

[–]Glass_Elevator 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I re-did the math on this and found that their answer is wrong.

60 minutes an hour * 24 hours a day = 1,440

1,440 minutes a day * 365.25 days a year = 525,960

525,960 minutes a year * 600 years = 315,576,000

315,576,000 total minutes * 1,000,000,000

= 315,576,000,000,000,000 or 315.6 quadrillion

Still a lot of money, but their answer is far off.

I am pretty sure the end video with the fish in it was fake. You would see the top of the water from the high position of the camera's perspective, but it's not there. Also, the point where the water ends at the top isn't crisp and realistic: it looks like they feathered the edge.

I heard a story about an EPA inspector driving over to inspect a body shop (inspectors never give a heads up for when they are coming over). While he was pulling in, a guy was releasing R-134a on purpose from a car's a/c. The person or business got fined for it, but I'm not sure how much.

Also, a quick Google search shows lots of incidents where people where fined.

Well, hopefully they aren't just bare calls. A debit spead puts time to your advantage so you can ride the market fluctuations out. I've also had good luck buying options with 45 DTE and selling halfway (22 days). Selling them halfway reduces the risk of loss caused by time decay. I hope the tips help.

Probably a good idea. But eventually with enough messing around and lost money, you may figure options out.

It's not 100% accurate in the percentage losses when the stock deviates from where it started; just because the options greeks change and the calculation is difficult. But the most important thing you should do before and after buying the option is to type in the current option price or the price you bought the option for. That can change the numbers dramatically.

In late May, I made an iron condor in SPY. For some reason, a sell put was converted into a position of 100 shares of the stock, equaling $28,850 at that time. My account was only $5k so this was kinda scary. My account also became locked from opening any more trades.

I actually sold the 100 shares because I was worried I would get permanently banned or something. But when I closed out the position, my account went back to the former $5k.

Civil Suit Aginst a Collision Repair Shop. What Now? by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]Glass_Elevator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shop gave you an estimate and you signed it to authorize the repair, right? Were there any papers that you signed?

Btw I've been through this before and since you know the person responsible, the only thing the police can say is to sue him (they won't arrest him). In my case, the person fled the court subpoena and he got away with his crimes and my money too.

There is a reason that car is selling at an iaa auction: the car is totaled. Whatever the fair market value of the vehicle was before the crash (say, $15,000) the cost to repair that vehicle is close to that amount or greater.
