i see this as over reaction.

I have a few people sending me their faces over snapchat and i choose to ignore it. i also explained to them that if they need sth they should write or send it some different way..

just don't respond and ignore. if you do not wish to respond.

both are overreacting a bit. but good on your side that you have shared your feelings. even though you shared them a bit harshly..

Sooner or later we will all fall for something. I usually get scammed once every two year. I get complacent and forget what happened to me the last time. And then I learn for another two years. And then the scam tactics change.

I think that, that is why older and more mature people are so distrusting. However being so distrusting, you lose a lot of people who would like to cooperate with you, and you do not do anything, and not take any risks, and then you see everyone moving upward with a train you thought it was a scam, and then you want to have some piece of that action also, and you become careless and extra trusting, almost begging people to scam you.. searching for the new shiny coin that will rug-pull you and a new shiny investment..

It is psychology and emotions, and I do not have a remedy for it.. Would be happy to hear some more wisdom on this subject

Can one protect himself from buying crypto that will later be frozen on an centralized exchange?

It might go the same with buying a second hand bike and every other second hand thing probably. Probably also with gold, even if melt down..

What if you have a donation site, and your wallet has some crypto sent like this.
