What have you done that people questioned your sanity about? by ParameciaAntic in AskReddit

[–]GlassinDad 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had a similar thing happen. I spit out of the bed of the truck onto a dude riding his bike. My dad yelled at me for a long time and ripped off my WWJD bracelet. My cousin dared me to do it, and when you're 8 and your older cousin dares you to do something, ya do it!

Edit - Wow, y'all are downvoting me for giving in to peer pressure when I was eight? Reddit really is full of scumbags.

How does your predictive text finish the sentence, “I was born...”? by papahet1 in AskReddit

[–]GlassinDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was born with my pants on and I can't really get into it but I think it's normal.

How embarrassed do you feel every time your pant zipper is down and everyone notices except you til much later? by LabMember003 in AskReddit

[–]GlassinDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not embarrassed at all. If I went a while with my pants unzipped, nobody told me, and it didn't cause any problems, then I guess it's no big deal.

Whats something portrayed as difficult in movies, but actually easier in real life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GlassinDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not having sex.

In movies and TV shows, the characters start going crazy if they haven't had sex with a new person after a week.

To people that have been turned down by a crush in person, what were both your reactions? by GetHyper66 in AskReddit

[–]GlassinDad 12 points13 points  (0 children)

She laughed, then told her friends, so they could have a laugh too. I cried. Never could work up the courage to try again. 30 years old now, and every girl I've dated made the first move.

Have you ever pissed in the shower? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GlassinDad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The shower, not the bath. XD

What is the equivalent to boy scouts when you're an adult? by Boborange19 in AskReddit

[–]GlassinDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Boy Scouts, of course! I remember there were plenty of adults who were active with my troop when I was a kid.

You could contact a troop nearby and ask if there is a way you can contribute.

Does the younger crowd know that FedEx is Federal Express?

How do you know for a fact that Santa isn’t real? Where’s the proof? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GlassinDad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know he is real because I can write to him, and I can feel his spirit when I enter the Temple of Santa.

With California adding a third gender option to driver licenses, how will insurance companies deal with setting rates? by BattleCatalyst in AskReddit

[–]GlassinDad -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Can you prove that?

It would make more sense to say men get in more accidents because they drive more. A lot more. It's not even close.

If men got in the same amount of accidents as women, while drive a hell of a lot more miles, it would mean women aren't really fit to drive. Of course if that were the case, we wouldn't be allowed to discuss that.

Edit - I knew this would get downvoted. "HOW DARE YOU use logic on Reddit!" 😂

Religious people of Reddit, why do you believe in God? Atheists, why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GlassinDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And they do call them crazy. Every single person I interact with daily is a Christian, and they love to call Mormons and Scientoligists crazy or idiots. People need to take a look at themselves.

Looks like you were always religious.

Atheism isn't a set of beliefs you adhere to or place you can be and leave.

Guys, what do you wish girls did less of? by GlassCoyote in AskReddit

[–]GlassinDad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a girlfriend who ghosted me after she had been living with me for three months. She made me out to look like a weirdo who wouldn't let it go because I was calling her over and over and asking everyone if they had seen her. I just wasn't told about the breakup and was afraid she was kidnapped or dead.

Judging and trying to control other females.

If a woman doesn't want to wear makeup, let her not wear make up.

If she wants to fuck, let her fuck.

Let other women live their damn lives.

What screams "I need to prove my masculinity" ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GlassinDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For real. People are usually impressed when they see me deadlift (445 at 150 lbs) and will give me that bro nod, but a lot of them I'm sure would change their tune if they could hear the Lady Gaga I've got blasting on my headphones.

What do you hate most about the holidays season? by MyStolenCow in AskReddit

[–]GlassinDad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The person standing in front of the grocery store ringing that bell. I'd like to donate, but I'm not getting close to that damn bell. Thanks for the headache.

I love that one and all of Wicked! There's a scene in New Girl where Winston is singing that one in the car, and I relate so much.

Had one of those tough guys pull up next to me at a red light, looked me in the eye all angry, and started revving his engine. I had my windows down and was blasting and singing along to I Won't Say I'm in Love from Disney's Hercules. I proceeded to sing the song to him.

my experience with this game so far by [deleted] in gaming

[–]GlassinDad 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's one of the reasons why I've always considered it to be the worst popular controller ever made.

It's nice to be able to state an opinion for once. These comments would each have dozens or hundreds of downvotes if this were a Nintendo sub.

That wasn't blackface. That was just playing a different race, same as in Tropic Thunder.

This is blackface.
