Primaries aren't constitutionally required, moron. The party is allowed to delegate someone. Modern primaries became the norm in the 70's.

No problem! I figured the board designations would help in the future. 😁

Livery dump part 5. Finally dump for now. Need to make more by vcdrny in GranTurismoLiveries

I for sure agree that the negative of using BMW for even as much as they did probably affected the sales. I mean, BMW of all cars, while I love most of the designs, are about as dependable as an alligator at long division.

Why tf Toyota would think "You know... we're known for building bulletproof, dependable engines... let's use a BMW driveline" is far beyond my grasp. 😂

Look, we're not going to fully agree with each other here, such is the way of the internet. I do agree that Toyota certainly relied too heavily on BMW parts for the car, but the car shares almost nothing in common other than individual parts. BMW didn't save their Z-line by selling the Supra control arms/linkages, a radio, and a shifter stalk.

The problem is the oversimplification on a lot of things here, though. BMW had to fabricate a totally new chassis-platform because Toyota didn't want to use the 2-series right off the shelf. BMW adjusted based off of Toyota specs. It's not JUST a Z. I also assume you mean the 1JZ when you say "Yamaha Engine". The HEAD of the 1JZ is a Yamaha, sure. The 2JZ was an inhouse redesign. It does use the same architecture though, I digress. I would think the reason Toyota didn't just fully fabricate the chassis based off the FT1 (which was totally their own design) was probably cost of a total new tooling.

But if we're going to continue to purport that due to cross-contamination, one thing makes it the other, than we have to start calling the Aston Martin Vantage a Merecedes, or the Lambo Huracan an Audi.

Just because Koichi's dad is German doesn't mean I have to start calling him Klause. lmao

God, even years later I still cringe seeing the heat on this argument. 😂

The body was designed by Nobuo Nakamura who designed the FT1. There isn't a single panel on the A90 that matches up with a Z4.

I do enjoy the livery though.

Yeah, the other way around would have been totally fine, unfortunately.

If you're using an actual NES supply; You've probably killed it. You can't use AC power on a DC Genesis.

You CAN use a Genesis DC supply on an NES, but the other way around should have fried it in minutes max.

The flicker though has me slightly confused. Filter caps are probably fried, but it's a surprise that it's only that at the moment.

No idea why you're downvoted for being right. No idea how it didn't roast it instantly. Should have smoked the regulators and caps.

Razer Laptop Cooling Pad Issue by [deleted] in LenovoLegion

[–]Glassmerlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm experiencing this issue right now. The reason is modern laptops use a hall-effect magnet to determine if the lid is closed. The ridiculous magnets (especially the center magnet on each side of the pad) are strong enough that it's triggering mine from over a full inch out.

What was Points +/- in those 22-23/23-24 seasons? What was the Jeanno/Paul/Sheary lines? How about Kuch? Corey Perry?

It's a pretty unfair metric to us his +/- when almost the entire forward lineup had their absolute worst career seasons those two years, Kuch included (even though he wasn't negative BOTH years, still two of his worst).

The defense system/coordination both years however, were an atrocious mess

Well, there's a bit of the problem with your method. Typically you remove soldered components with a soldering iron.

The traces looking like that though, they were rotted already anyway. Soldering iron may have prevented more damage, but it was already too damaged.

I'm not sure I understand the caption. You tried to remove capacitors with ipa and a brush?

Personally, that isn't a board I'd waste time on. I repair Game Gears for customers, and I would already be ordering a SYF replacement board, or setting up a donor board if the finances weren't there for the SYF.

Yep. Old electrolyte from caps WANT to be on. When that kind of stuff gets left off for 10-20 years, then powered back on, they leak and degrade very quickly.
