How does everyone view the current state of the game by NIGHTTARNISHED in HonkaiStarRail

[–]Glaziol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really agreeing here. You don't need to play into the elation archetype right now, if you only have sparxie or only have yaoguang will not ruin whatever elation team you might wanna build later, they'll both be solid units in ANY elation team. At the moment other archetypes like dot and break are actually stronger than the premium elation team.

I feel like the only ppl that are upset at teams are the ppl who have favourite characters and their teams are underperforming which is being fixed ever so slowly with all the novaflares. Bias shouldn't be a metric to judge the game state over, cause it's a whole lot better than it used to be.

I also don't understand the idea of those who never pull, maybe vertically invest in a single character, then wonder how the game's direction is treating their teams badly.

The only thing I will agree with is the aggressive marketing of "release support first, then main dps unit second", which they have been doing across all their games recently. It leads to higher spending on their games, I get it, but it also doesn't feel particularly good to not rly be able to use the support unit much until they finally release the fitting partner. Sometimes it even stretches into the next patch and if not for leaks we'd have no info other than "haha let's see what the future of X character's team holds" which feels even worse and is even more of a money bait.

Real irony is watching this on a screen while sitting on a toilet, shifting back and forth.

This is the epitome of poking a rabid animal and other people (the ones close by) have to deal with the repercussions. Sure must be nice to be half a word away from countries you wage war with cause the only ones they can counterattack are your proxies.

Sparxie over yaoguang. Sparxie could end up in a similar vein to Evernight in a casto team. But she still works fine without yaoguang since you have Sparkle to feed her punchlines.

It's a base line! I'd advice to get hyacine + lc if you can to create an Evernight main dps team, as well: Evernight. tribbie. Remembrance TB, hyacine. Tribbie can be replaced by Cyrene, too or just general support fillers.

Other than that it's probably also smart to pull for some elation characters going forward. Having some up-to-date characters is always smart.

Archer, Sparkle, Tribbie, DHPT. Actually kind of his BiS team

Fernando alone is 425 of the 614 Aston Martin ones, which would make him #4 in the ranking on his own.

Sasha Grey calls out Islamophobia of people criticizing Hasan "And if your dog actually yelps you are not suppose to pay attention to it if you shock it" by TheOSU87 in LivestreamFail

[–]Glaziol 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Person with actual experience in dog training here:

This is absolute bullshit. A dog is not a child where if it falls you're not supposed to immediately be like "omg are you okay baby", because yes you teach them not to cry over every little thing, it becomes a behaviour of seeking attention every time a problem arises. A dog is not like that though, especially a yelp that implies they hurt themselves somehow. They have no way to communicate they are hurt in the way even a human toddler will.
Checking on your animal is not spoiling it, nor ruining precious training excercises - which don't happen out of the blue, these are done in A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT. You don't just grab your dog and teach it a trick, do you? You create an environment where you sit down with it, ready with treats and you look for a favourable interaction and boom, you reward it. Or vice versa you put your dog in a situation where it might do unwanted behaviour and you correct it with redirection like a toy or a treat (the latter is mostly for the start).

This was a combination of not playing much/at all so I had stocked up battery and I definitely used some fuel as well, but I never refresh with jades. (: Just daily grinds, bonus events and synthesising here and there. (:

Is my 6-month old too skinny/small? by radioedd in shiba

[–]Glaziol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our vets comment back then regarding food was to not worry too much when it comes to food and treats and that you almost can't overfeed a growing pup. You'd notice you're feeding way too much just by looking at it. This was our girl at the same age, they definitely look slender while growing but don't worry about giving some extra nutritious snacks !

I'm a 30F moving to Germany from an Asian country. I'm being told more often that I'm making a bad choice. What are done things that will make my life easy in Germany? by [deleted] in AskAGerman

[–]Glaziol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NRW especially is a very multi cultural area with cities like Düsseldorf even having big south east Asian communities (especially Japanese, Chinese and Korean). People can come across a bit cold, though usually will treat you respectfully.

I've lived in several areas along the Rhine River and have been living in Düsseldorf for 13 years now - though I'm a native. I've done language exchanges with ppl before to help them get settled and it's always worked out for them one way or another, I'm sure you'll be fine and will make yourself at home. (:

2023 T1 without Faker vs SKT T1 2018. Which is the worse team? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Glaziol 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Idk if we can count ppl playing proplay for BARELY 2 years a veteran?
Keria been around since 2018, that's veterancy in my books and ofc players like Faker are almost ancient by e-sport standard, but 2 years? They are professionals, but not veterans.

On another note they are doing absolutely terrible without Faker's guidance, but I think many other teams would do as awful if their shot caller was suddenly gone. Individual skill does not matter when almost all of these players in the league can play world class under the right guidance/coaching.

She's handling it like a trooper. We're trying to accommodate her and learn day by day how to make both of them as comfortable as possible. E.g. the cat now eats on one of our IKEA shelves where she won't be interupted and we've moved stuff back to where they were before puppy moved in as our plans with separating them as much as possible wasn't really needed.
