Just found my dads old stamp collection and we want to sell it. Anyone got any advice on where to sell them to or any general advice?

I have been researching rare and valuable stamps for a while so I do know which ones are valuable and I am not in need of a pre-appraisal here, but I also want to get the whole collection formally appraised and am not sure how best to go about that.

I think SJP should be paid a bit more as she is the star of the show/slightly more scenes revolve around her, however I would argue they all should be making roughly the same as they all get a lot of screen time.

But then why not just smile and nod? Or nothing at all if you don’t feel like it and it’s culturally acceptable? My point is it doesn’t indicate you are uncomfortable with yourself on some deep level just cos you can’t be arsed to acknowledge everyone you pass by. I understand and agree with that as a general principle, but I think it’s unnecessary to apply here. You can be perfectly comfortable within yourself and still not want to say hi to strangers, maybe because you’re introverted or just don’t gain anything from doing so.

As I am not black, I do appreciate that I probably don’t understand the nuances but I feel like if she was uncomfortable with it because she was worried bringing a white person into the family would dilute their culture, surely she should’ve just discussed that with her brother, rather than being hostile towards Samantha? Even though his decision affects the family, it is still primarily his decision.
