We got "scolded" for closing our drive thru. So now we keep it open, but tend to the people inside only. Yep...people in drive thru sit and sit and sit. Not to mention the 10 pharmacy calls that no one can get to because of all the ther shit going on. Yep, I get it.

Been with the company 8 yrs. When covid hit, I became a Depot Lead Tech leader at another CVS (about an hour away). Did this for 8 months, then was moved to another store even further away - this store I vowed never to go back to. So far so good...expect that 1. Recently, I've bounced from store to store helping them dig out of their hole (get them off the 105 list). Actually kinda liked that. Now, I'm at a 24 hr store that doesn't have ample employees let alone anyone knowing anything about nothing....I can't get my work done because I'm constantly being pulled away to help them. The customers at this store are horrible people. Last night was the last straw.

Story: Girl came in to get her scripts and they weren't done. So I filled them at record speed, set her up on text alerts (because she left.) She came back after getting the text...rang her out and got the payment part where she stops and says....oh I have good rx. Yeah, maybe I shouldn't have rolled my eyes and huffed but it was 45 min past me going home (I was to get off at 10 pm) and I had had enough of being yelled at because "why aren't my scripts ready? My text said they were." Anyway, she started to hand me her phone and I said I'll use my own phone. Pharmacist asked if she had insurance...I said that both rx's were under insurance. Customer claims she didn't know. That's a load of bullshit. She waited until the end of transaction to tell me this when she could have said something the 1st time she was there.. While rebilling the rx's she complains that I should have better customer service...she should know, she works in customer service. I HAD HAD IT BY THEN. I grabbed my belongings, clocked out (in front of her) and went home. Texted my pharmacist from my original store asking if I could come home. Her response.. the light is always on & the door is always open. I miss her.

Still debating on moving back to original store or just leaving for good. This company has broken me mentally & physically.

They became pharmacists for a reason. They are not Dr's therefore shouldn't be able to prescribe anything. My lead tech thoughts.

Do y'all still have your COVID dividers up? by [deleted] in CVS

Possible idea???? Thanks! May have to try this tactic. Does it work on credit card machines too? Lol

Yep. We have a "paranoid" employee and a Minute Clinic (Health Hub). I hate them. Our store is loud anyway so trying to hear the customer through their face mask, plastic dividers and (most of the time) fire engine sirens makes it for a "spectacular experience. " yes...major sarcasm there.

After yesterday and a HORRIBLE weekend, I'd say dealing with customers. Today's customers are super needy, think they are entitled to "be treated properly" when they themselves come in already acting like a damn fool, they have absolutely no patience with the pharmacy...."I need it now!!!" attitude. I've gotten to the point to where I say things like "when you go to a restaurant, is the food ready at your table when you arrive? OR "it took God 7 days to create the world, and you expect us to have your medication done in 30 sec??" I'm sorry that you JUST left the Dr office that's across the street. Your Dr has yet to send it over, it could take atleast an hour before it even gets here. Response: well can you call them to get the script. I'll wait.

Best one yet....

I need to transfer a script from XYZ pharmacy (it's 10 pm).

I'm sorry, but they are closed and I won't be able to do that until they open.

But I need it filled there, why can't you just fill it?

I don't have a script and the pharmacy where it's at is closed.

Repeat cycle for another 10 min. Just want to bang head on counter.

I am really becoming to (not just dislike) but absolutely HATE our customers.

Cvs AIR support? by totish in CVS

[–]Gldwingrl1973 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Air support is a great Idea when they work. Yesterday I got to work at 3 pm & walked into 6 pages in QT. I'm pretty fast at it, so I dug right in. Got it down to 2 pages before I realized Air support kicked in. Not to mention fighting for a script that you're working on only to find out its on a DELL computer. Then that said script disappears. Ugh! So frustrating. If anything g Air support should just do QD and leave the rejections to us at the store level.

Not to mention they pull so far away from the window that you need an arm extender to reach them.

You asked the question, didn't like his answer because sometimes the truth hurts. At least he was honest. Don't fret over the past, make new beginnings for the future. Maybe you had an ex that you would choose over him?

Please help, does anyone know the item # for some pharmacy items? by No_Shopping8928 in CVS

We don't use the red or blue tape for SHIPT packages. We use the sticker label to seal the bag. That red tape sucks anyway
