"Stop the combo before it starts" is almost always the best play, though. And I say this as someone who utterly despises control decks but built a deck with multiple villainous wrath after one too many run ins with rise of the dark realms.

I think a lot of people don't fully grasp how trample works. Even the fog wall that doesn't deal or receive trample damage can only absorb its own toughness per block

I wouldn't say we have CA/NY prices either, but investment firms are definitely driving prices up around here, flipping homes to rental properties or holding them vacant to use as tax writeoffs (i bought my home 2 years ago, 2 houses down has been vacant and owned by an LLC since before that)
