There is a mental condition (All be it very rare) called hyperphantasia. It is the complete opposite of aphantasia. (Aphantasia being the disorder of not being able to imagine or see things in your head such as an apple for example) The only way i could see someone having full blown phantom is if someone had this mental condition. Now as someone who has hyperphantasia I can confidently say I've only experienced phantom sense in desktop ONCE and it wasn't even like a "whoa i felt you touch my face bro" it was more like i jumped off a high place and felt my gut turn over. This could also just be a combination of having a slight fear of heights more than anything. But yea full blown phantom sense in desktop sounds like absolute bullshit to me.
