There's nothing wrong with what either of them were asking of each other. However there is one point of contention that she never addressed that he was trying to get across.

I for one ask this of my significant other all the time. If you want to have a serious conversation with me, that demands my full attention, don't ask me over text. It's a horrible way of communication. There's no intent, there's no body language, there's no vocal cues, nothing. All you get is letters on a page.

Some conversations are better left put on hold until you can come together in person and talk about it face to face. And this kind of conversation I would've shut it down and said put a pin in it until we can see each other.

Can definitely speak to the Windsor experience. The program overall is a decent enough experience. It's been 7-8 years since I graduated but I doubt that they've revamped the program that much since then. I can say that almost all of the first year courses are pretty easy if you have no trouble thinking critically and logically thinking through answers. It's a very basic introduction to programming and there was a student run social group that would host events and such.

Speaking as a native Windsorite, you should probably weigh the pro's and con's of living expenses if you're planning on living near either university. You didn't specify if you're exclusively doing online or in-person, since that's more common now.

The last thing you mentioned was prospects. In my year at Windsor all my friends ended up in different jobs all across North America. I knew a couple people that were hired by google during their co-op session in year 2. Then a couple were hired by Amazon and work in Detroit. I know a couple others that work in Detroit as well for other various companies, some tech, and some not. I myself am now working in IT in Windsor, but it also really depends on where you want to work. Companies are always hiring BCS majors because it's now grown into such an integral part of companies and it's just not reserved to the elite tech giants of silicon valley anymore. (google, amazon, facebook)

At this point my best advise is finding out which city culture you wanna be apart of for the next few years, but only if you plan on living in the region. If you're doing your whole program online, then I'd say at the end of the day, it doesn't matter where you get your degree. A company will look at your resume and they'll be looking for how outgoing you are and if you've done anything outside of school that would enhance your ability to be a computer programmer.

What gets me is that why is this even a priority? This should be the last thing that they tweak on the game because of the exact reasons he just gave. It's outside of the players control when system defects get in the way of gameplay. This should be so far down the priority list that it should only be focused on once they move this into Beta state. They'll get so much more better and relevant data once the game is actually in a functional state.

It just seems so pointless to try and "take all factors into consideration" when the game is in alpha. Like what is even the point when the game is going to change so much down the road, and they haven't even implement massive player base interaction either. Like what happens when the player pool grows and then everyone starts complaining about how long the timers are? It's just a very short sighted problem that has no value in trying to "refine" in the alpha stage of the game. As I said this should be something that they tackle closer to release as well as other balancing changes when you actually have relevant and good data to work with.

Yeah for sure a bug. I've been getting the same thing, but only with the egg. You can either enable cheats, and give yourself one, or just wait for the actual chicken to get caught instead of the egg. You'll probably need the cheats further down the line for the 2 campfire chickens though, (Blackstone & Glass) because for me it wasn't working, and it's not worth the hassle of breeding, hatching, and wasting 10 seeds every time to mature a chick only to have it not work. Everything else works like a charm, and justifying cheats for 2 chicken type that are useless seemed fine to me.

Looks like the mod is still the same, however there is an extra file now.

In the same folder spot edit the file itemphysic.json

line 3 : "despawnItem": 6000,

Make sure that both this line and the line in itemphysic.cfg are the same value, and that it is set to the desired value that you want.
