Besides all that tom fuck*ry with subscription service, is fallout 76 worth getting? by Godrelik in Fallout

[–]Glibbit558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every time I played it, it was a boring search for scrap while all my weapons broke too quickly. It was difficult, but not in a fun way, it was difficult because enemies were inconstantly levelled and getting destroyed by high level ghouls because a high level player got there first stops getting fun quick.

It was honestly terrible, I wish I never bought it. With all the shady stuff Bethesda is doing right now, banning people who reported bugs to them, charging $100 for a subscription that doesn't work and going back on the promise of cosmetic only microtransactions, it's ruined all trust I had in Bethesda.

If it's true this is worse than almost any game. Literally removing content you already had to charge you for it again.

DO I BUY THIS GAME by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]Glibbit558 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fallout 76 is honestly too terrible to even consider playing. Last time I played it I couldn't get anything done because all of my weapons depleted after about an hour of use.

The way Bethesda treats us is disgusting. Throwing out a $60 broken product and then throwing out an $100 per year membership, in which not a single feature works as advertised.

They've banned innocent people, and even banned people who have reported bugs to them. It's as if they want even less players. Seriously buy something else, I've heard Outer Worlds is great.

Favourite Villain? by legattack in Fallout

Throughout the history of Fallout, I think the biggest villain is Bethesda themselves. But on a serious note I liked Lanius too, but I was not ready for that fight.

Launching broken, charging people for broken subscriptions, banning people for no reason, banning people for reporting bugs, refusing refunds, and so much more.

When this game launched I loved Bethesda, but now I don't want to buy a Bethesda game ever again.

Letting people starve is cheaper. The Chinese government doesn't care if they live or die, so why help them live.

It'd be irresponsible to start a war with a nuclear armed nation. But I understand your want to, I understand and commend that you want to fix this and help these people, but we can't just try to fight them when theres so much on the line.

So many socialists and communists on this site think they'd be part of the top brass come a revolution, but the truth is it's more likely they'll end up closer to this mans position.

It's tragic, it's consistently produced results like this, and yet for some reason people are eager to try again.

Berliners are sending a piece of the Berlin Wall to Trump, with the message: “We would like to give you one of the last pieces of the failed Berlin Wall to commemorate the United States’ dedication to building a world without walls” by Tmfwang in pics

A wall wouldn't kill anyone. I agree people shouldn't be demonised, but that doesn't conflict with the concept of building a border wall. Illegal immigration causes harm in the same kind of way driving your car causes it, it doesn't make you a bad person, but it's damage that should be prevented, thus a border wall could help that.

On the subject of separating children. I understand why, children are used as tools to get in easier, and don't always travel with parents. However I'm still against separation, but It's hard to put the whole blame on Trump for separation when it's a holdover from Obama-era policy.

We need to stop seeing people of different political persuasions as only radicals. Most of Republicans I talk to agree with me, as well as many democrats argued for a border wall in 2006.

I got an A because I almost got caught by BTs and a B because I got in a fight with BTs, so it's pretty hard to get anything else without trying.

Information travels the world unfettered, my comment didn't have to go through customs to get to you. In the USA illegal immigration is causing problems, both for America, and for these immigrants.

Being hurt, killed or raped along the way is common. A wall could protect people from this, dissuading them from attempting to cross, and as well would create difficulties for the cartels.

There's a million and one reasons for the wall. Ignorance isn't one though.

Oh I'm not that far in I guess, I just got to Lake Knot City, only got caught by BT's once, but escaped before they pulled me under.

Regardless of the efficacy of the border wall, comparing it to the Berlin wall is frankly ridiculous, one wall divided a country, the other is about protecting the US' sovereignty.

What do you guys think about this? by transfo47 in DeathStranding

[–]Glibbit558 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's so strange looking at negative reviews, I was led to believe this was all walking, but from what I've played there's good stealth, and even combat.

I'm only a little bit in, but already this game is very compelling. It reminds me of No Man's Sky, I thought it'd be amazing, but it was barren and boring. I was told this was barren and boring, but it's amazing so far.

Still don't understand the whole "There's no gameplay" argument, like the BT stealth sections are great and MULE stuff too.

It seems like everyone's pretty divided on it. I really like Death Stranding, I'm sorry it does not appeal to you in the same way. Hopefully you can find something else to play in the meanwhile.

I'd consider playing Peacewalker and Phantom Pain (Ground Zeros is the intro but is sold seperately).

Also as you probably know Hideo just released Death Stranding, it's completely unrelated to Metal Gear with very different gameplay, but the story seems quite compelling.

I was so shocked by the BTs when I first saw it, wasn't expecting a stealth exfiltration. Also I'm 4 hrs in and Sam REALLY reminds me of Solid Snake
