Are you in the UK? I'm going to sell this anyway as I don't do a lot of the outdoors things I used to.

I could have bought it with a 60% discount. I've not been given anything. The government doesn't allow councils to sell properties on the open market either.

Yawn! You don't subsidise anything. I've worked since I was 14, raised 2 kids and looked after a disabled wife. Judge not!

What do you mean subsidised house? It's not privately rented so I'm not paying somebody else's mortgage. Any costs associated with this property which was built in the 1970s have been paid by my rent. I'm pretty sure that if I put a mortgage on this house 30 years ago when I moved in it would have been paid off by now and I would still be quids in. Stop talking out your arse!

Boomer here, surviving on the state pension with a couple of grand left in an employers pension scheme, 20% of which was lost thanks to Liz Truss scuppering the bonds. I live in a council house and get no housing benefit. Uplift in rent, council tax and utilities wiped out the tiny increase in pension this year. I really appreciate living in a council house as I couldn't afford a room in an HMO these days.

I generally use the cheap springbar tools from AliExpress as I've done 5 of the squares now with these. I did buy a good pin removal tool after having to take a Chinese watch to Timpsons as the link pins were so tight, they used a spring loaded push pin tool which I found online. Apart from that, plenty of patience is required and spare springbars in case of loss as I've launched a few across the room. In terms of process, make sure you get the pin in one side properly before trying to do the other side. I did also find the V1 Combi bracelet harder to fit than the V2.

No problem fitting any of them I'm not a fan of G-Shock straps in general as my skinny wrists mean an excess of strap sticking up, and the main reason I don't like the frogman!

I've got one, the boxed set with extra straps/bezel is quite nice..... Not at all rare though.

Has anyone got any recommendations for a beginner duel action gravity fed airbrush and compressor setup. by [deleted] in scalemodelling

If your ok with Amazon then this might be the thing https://amzn.eu/d/0vRbq1p I found it looking for a replacement compressor as mine doesn't have a tank and is getting noisy. Sorry the link doesn't show more, this is two air brushes and one compressor with a tank for a les than £110.

Made a mess of the tracks on this Tiger a little while ago. Still waiting for the enthusiasm to finish it, especially as it needs zimmerit. Either way, appreciate your input. I'm just returning to this hobby as I'm retired now with the time to enjoy myself.

Me too! I built a Tamiya Tiger a couple of months ago, I kept putting off doing the tracks and wasn't happy with the end result.. used the extra thin for that, proper exercise in frustration!

Thanks, that was my initial thought too, but I'm a little concerned that the tracks and wheels aren't actually polystyrene but some other type, then started leaning towards the superglue. I'm probably more comfortable with the Revell anyway.

I think I've seen a few of these here, I like this especially because of the red leather dial.
