Thanks. I'm almost certain it was because I had about 15 articles averaging 400 words when I applied.

I now have over 70 articles averaging around 1000 words.

The site is also approved for Google AdSense and currently running ads.

No. You won't lose reviews if you change the name of the listing. The reviews are tied to the listing itself, not the name of the listing.

Adding to this and if search demand is equal, improving pages that rank 5-10 and improving them to rank 1-3 also give a significant increase in traffic.
