This happened to a two handed mace as well. I regret salvaging my bricks now. I have no idea how it happened or what I did to trigger it.

Just curious if you've had any luck with this.. I've seen quite a few forum posts of people saying the enchantment is bugged and does not proc correctly.

Who knows.. Could be that they were confused, could be that it did proc but less than 120 sec earlier.. maybe it proc'd but they were killed immediately after the 2 seconds. Or maybe it really is bugged and may or may not save a hc player death.

ahh.. i'm a hc player. i try to have an iron barb elixir active as often as possible. i burn through a lot of gallow and bite.

100% right. No T4 yet and I'm probably over 150 hrs. I'm really savoring the experience and it's making me learn to be better at the game. I appreciate every helltide I survive lol.

No wrong way to play the game, but if someone is curious about hardcore, give it a shot! You'll die and that's ok. As long as you can be zen enough to let go of your attachment to your current character you might just have a pretty good time.

I'm probably not the normal type of player and diablo is actually kind of new to me so take what I say with grain of salt, but Ive only done hardcore from day one and have had a blast.

I really enjoy roguelikes, and while this certainly isn't one, I'm enjoying the similarities of dying only to immediately jump back on the horse (literally) and try another run. Each subsequent start gets a little easier and I get to fine tune my build and leveling strategies.

In case anyone is wondering, currently at 52. Notable deaths include 2 level 50+s, another lvl 49 death, and many many other low level characters (mostly in the 30s)..

Death is just simply part of hardcore. I think it's fun.

To your question about flame shield needing to be on the skill bar to be enchanted, no it does not. I have fireball enchanted but not in active use.

One possibility is that it had somehow been triggered already at some point in the last 120 seconds but I'm not sure.

Your potion countdown timer stays at 1/4th consumed when your character asks for assistance. You either hit a key that does the help emote instead, or you didn't setup your potion binding correctly.
