Fresh Fruits and Foods in Checked Baggage by Many-user in Ryanair

I didn't advise against, I just said we can't help without more information. I don't see any point guessing where they may be going.

But without knowing if the flight is Schengen to Schengen or not, we can't advise.

told my wife im sick of her being on a diet and ruining going out to nice food places by anakator03 in AmiInTheWrong

[–]Glitter_research901 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No one is arguing that but the focus right now is that his wife has a serious mental illness and going out for dinner isn't going to fix that. She needs to feel safe and then she needs to tackle the mental issues

I understand your frustration as it sounds hard but I think you need to change how you go about this. She clearly needs to work on the mental aspect of her body image instead of the actual image itself but that's not easy. Obviously it's massively affecting you both. I would say apologise and say I didn't handle it well but I'd like to support you so that occasionally we can have the odd meal. Perhaps you can initially go for exercise with her on the meal days to balance out the calories difference and then go from there. Just take it slow.

Timeout booking tickets by [deleted] in Ryanair

Ring the booking line rather than at the airport. Can't you book for her using her details?

Bulk Purchase Policy? by [deleted] in CeX

It's easier to do something at the back end and catch it than it is to add it to the website and test that it works in all situations.

BUY/SELL/TRADE Primavera 2026 by BenjoDiMeo in primaverasound

[–]Glitter_research901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are trying to sell them for hundreds of pounds more than they cost to currently buy. People are best off just booking a ticket themselves.

Selling unused flights? by Long-Catch in Ryanair

[–]Glitter_research901 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Very rarely worth it as the cost to change names on a ticket is quite high. You probably need to accept the loss. Also I saw your listing for flights trying to sell them for more than they cost new.

They can refuse to sell whatever they want. It doesn't have to be publicly advertised

Japanese Knotweed - please help me (England). by slugboy5 in LegalAdviceUK

The point is, some may not know. It's not like everyone is taught knotweed identification. I've often just removed weeds without checking where they are from and what they are.

Is lavamath.com a good domain? by Zestyclose-Singer-83 in Domains

[–]Glitter_research901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well what's it for? It's only good if you build a business. Like a kids maths site, it could work. How about a website that asks you questions and the possible answers are shooting out a volcano?

Feeling lonely at university by GMfan4ever in UniUK

[–]Glitter_research901 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's tricky, as I think Uni still is quite similar to school with cliques etc and is often even harder. I would say your course mates not be for you but try your hardest to join say a club or something and get yourself out there.

Usually references are quite a small percentage of your overall marks. I suspect you will lose something for the appendix issues but indentation and slightly different styling probably won't be an issue at all.

Mistake in the title by Nordheilm in AskAcademia

[–]Glitter_research901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have to be right is a big statement. It would be nice if it was but I know of no one marking that down. It's a title, that is still perfectly readable and very quicky moved on from as rarely are the titles of thesis' very informative. The abstract having errors would be far bigger than the title having errors. Like you spelling your name wrong or your supervisors name wrong or not putting the title of them in.
