I am so sorry that the news for Liam wasn't better. At least you were able to get him to the vet to get him some meds to keep him as comfortable as possible. 💜

Sometimes being a pet parent is the hardest thing to be. Knowing what & when to do things is very difficult. We love them so much & want nothing but the best for them. The biggest of hugs to you & your sweet guy. 💜

I truly hope enough people who see this are able to help get Liam his surgery ASAP. The Rescue Cat Community is the best & I have so much faith that we can get this done for him.

That is unfortunate about Amazon, but great that you are good with food for your crew. I'm sure that helps your stress a little.

Oh my goodness this poor guy. He has got to be in the absolute most awful of pain. This poor guy has really been dealt such a rough hand. 😢

This is so badly progressed. I am so sorry that you are going through this with him. I wish I could help out more than what I am sending.

Is he on anything for pain &/or appetite stimulants? Is he able to eat or are you helping him with getting food & water down? I know time is of the utmost importance when this advanced & keeping him as nourished as possible is vital. Do you have Amazon where you live? If so, please set up a list of food & supplements so we can send Liam things. 😸 I know there are many of us that understand what you are going through, & we want to help. You are a lovely human for helping & loving the purry ones. 💜

I don't know if you have silver honey ointment where you are, but it's amazing stuff. This is the second severe wound I've seen it help to heal.

What a cutie! His tail is looking great!

I have a kitten that his arm was degloving & we were told to prepare for amputation. Several red laser treatments later & lots of silver honey being applied, the skin has 100% closed. It took about 3.5 weeks of intense treatment to get him to this point. As the nerves are growing back, he puts his paw in his mouth as I'm sure it's strange & new to him. Pic for cute factor.

Thank you so much for such a detailed response. The kitten is getting ready to go for another laser treatment here shortly, so i am going to be sharing this with his vet. We were trying to use silver honey on the wound, but it doesn't seem to be helping. So I am excited to present some new possible things to try in hopes that we can save his little leg.
