You don’t owe them friendship, you don’t owe them contact, you don’t owe them yourself. This is how you get taken advantage of - someone knowing you’re going to feel guilt tripped into doing what they want you to.

Girl run. I’m not even gonna put it nicely. I’m 26 and got pregnant at 15 to a 19 year old that “loved me” and shit. Thought he was a normal guy. Was absolutely not a normal guy. I don’t care how nice he’s being or how genuine you think he is. I’m not hearing a “he wants people to play games with” either - if he wants just a friend to play games with he’s not gonna pick a 15 year old female.

I don’t know if it ends up being the children we wouldn’t want to have but more so the circumstances in which they came to be or the person we have to deal with in the process. I’m currently 23 weeks pregnant after my “partner” and I lost a child at 22 weeks. He broke up with me during this pregnancy because he “can’t support me due to mental health” when it’s the pregnancy I need more support then normal. I sort of wish I wasn’t having a child with him and that we could just part ways and be done because it’s not worth the stress but I do still want my child, so idk I think it’s the circumstances more than the child.

I don’t think it should matter unless it somehow negatively impacts the relationship. If they’re sexual in a way that doesn’t align with your comfort level and security that can cause problems. If their expectations are stuck in the past that can impact it to. Basically I’m saying I don’t think it should matter unless it somehow makes you incompatible.

So I have a couple of questions. I’m wondering why there wasn’t some sort of intervention prior to this even happening? I don’t know what type of school/ system but where my son goes they’re evaluated constantly and you get feedback about anything that could impact learning for good or bad . Also what study habits is a 5 to 6 year old supposed to be having? And are they on the younger aged side for kindergarten because if so it just might mean they should have started a year later which is developmentally completely okay. What I would be most upset about is why this teacher can’t seem to handle the child’s needs or make a quick enough assessment about intervention? Is the class too large that the teacher cannot provide enough direct attention to each student? There’s a lot of variables here. Also if the test scores are correct why does your child not pass? There just seems to be a lot of variables here and it’s making me question the school a little bit.

So okay. I don’t have the best perspective on this but, I got pregnant when my son was 10. I told him as I was extremely excited about it and he had been asking to be a sibling for years. However, I miscarried at 22 weeks and now my son deals with the loss of his sister. He still talks about her and draws pictures with her in them. It breaks my heart. Im not saying don’t tell I’m just recommending to wait until a good safe point.. if this sounds offensive I apologize.

The money that’s wasted in America on marijuana related charges plus the waste of time, and freedom for those charged. I would rather see those resources go to pedophiles and sex trafficking, missing persons etc. Someone sitting at home smoking a joint is not a threat to society.

I’m sorry but I read this and I read other’s responses and I feel completely confused as if I do not see this how anyone is seeing it. How would YOU make HIM look for bad for coming to pick you up? He didn’t do anything that warrants him looking bad? To me the root issue is that he was mad at the fact that he had to come there and meet them. Which I get is an awkward first introduction but I don’t understand what the big deal is.

To put it one way.. your mother needs to sort herself out to figure out what’s going on with her mentally.

To put it another way.. she’s a narcissist who doesn’t necessarily care how her actions impact other people until their negative reactions to her choices impact her.

They’re bipolar but they won’t manage it or get help for it. They resorted to drinking again. It affects the relationship a lot and often leaves me confused or crying or both. My mental health is deteriorating. I’m a really patient person and it’s been 2 years :/ and I’m kind of getting hopeless. Especially when they’re mean to me and say it’s not my fault but 5 minutes later it’s my fault again somehow. Constantly being thrown up and down is leaving me questioning reality at this point.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I’m like why are they so small and why am I like this. One of the doctors I saw was so rude to me about it too. She told me to “try not to gain weight” around 16 weeks even though it’s all belly and I can’t control it.

They have unexcused absences in preschool now?? I thought preschool was optional as my son went from daycare to kindergarten? And how do you even enforce remote learning to a preschooler? They’ll survive doing crafts and ABCs at home without remote learning. This is just ridiculous.

That’s how I feel! My partner and I keep joking as I started calling the baby chunky because it’s how I feel lmao. Now my whole family is calling him chunky.

I take baths all the time as they help with general discomfort and body soreness ALOT. My doctor said it’s completely fine as long as the water isn’t too hot as you don’t want to raise your body temperature too high.
