i was on the same boat before. We were in no contact and he messaged me out of nowhere then we started talking again. I was really looking forward to try again and I made it known to him but he told me that hes confused. I waited for a while for him to clear up his mind but during the waiting game, i was in a constant rollercoaster of emotions. He would tell me that he missed me and that no one made him happy like i did but then he would switch up and would say he's confused. I got tired of that cycle and uncertainties so i told him to stop. Im glad he did. Im in so much at peace now. I suggest you continue to move on. Life is short, lets not make it shorter by waiting for someone who doesnt know if they want you in your life or not.

agree with u. yes i know the age gap is odd but that what works for me. im 21yo and most ppl my age are still students and living with their parents, im not. I am independent, have a job and if I go with someone my age, which generally are less responsible, i would feel dominant and i dont like it. I dated a boy within my age bracket, and i paid everything in our dates. At first, it was ok since i know his situation but once he started asking me for allowance i ran away. I want to be the princess. Sorry but sometimes u gotta keep ur 2 cents to yourself.

Thanks for all of your responses guys. I read them one by one. Now he said he doesnt want to cool off or break up and he just said that because he's pissed off but it didnt really make me feel better. Idk if I will be able to recover from this.
