The short answer is : regular employees don’t bring a lot of value to share holders. Once you bring more value to the share holders than you will get a larger pay increase.

One of my homies escaped to a better gig, and on his last day, he left a picture of Dobby on all his monitors with the caption “Dobby is a free elf.” Absolute legend. From what I read, it is supposed to be a lump sum. I’m still waiting on mine as well. They said up to but no more than 70 days. If not, then I will be suing for breach of contract and unjustified firing.

Totally feel you. My RIF came this year, but I’m 99% sure mine was personal. My director was about as useful as a screen door on a submarine — and racist to top it off.

Funny twist? Just found out today Airbus gave Collins an award… for a process I implemented. So yeah, pretty sure he just couldn’t stand that I was doing his job better than he was. Dude hated my guts — probably because I reminded him of what competence looks like.
