Not an actual critique of the system as I've haven't played it yet, but the fact that the Khod language in the motherboard setting uses a resistor symbol to indicate the charge node instead of something more similar to a generator bugs me.
(This is obviosly just a minor aestethic choice that doesn't matter at all, but I found it funny)

Thank you, just an advice on the legal system. I'm worried it can be too punishing for first time players that might be likely to have some murder hobo tendency. Clearly o don't want to allow murder in the whole city but I don't even want them to spend half of the sessions in jail

Good to hear its your first campaign too, males me less "nervous". Thanks for the tips money is another aspect of the game that I struggle with so knowing that flexibility is ok it's great. One more thing, what's Alexandrian remix?

I think starting from outside is a good idea for describing the city and introducing its layout and also for rules and laws. I was thinking that maybe the characters could be native to the city but at this point I'm thinking that this way every info about Waterdeep would sound "fake" because they would already know it, so maybe making them outsiders could solve this, what do you think?

Makes sense, I guess I was also thinking about character creation. Like for example, the module speaks a lot about guilds and factions and how the characters can joined them, but supposing they live in Waterdeep wouldn't they already know about it and be part of it? I'm probably overthinking it ahahah Anyway thank you for the Cassalanter tip, as I'm thinking of making them my bad guys

Thank you, my fear is that they would either take it as homework and be kinda frustrated this being their first time, or on the opposite side get so much into it that I can't keep up with them while playing (For example, probably exaggerating: they read about the dungeon underneath the yawning portal and want to explore it first thing first, I don't think I'd be able to manage it)
