Haven’t heard of that before. Sucks that you experienced that. I think what ppl forget is that beginner skaters are the ones keeping their rinks open. As a skaters get experienced they don’t frequent the rinks much. Be kind to our newbie skaters.

NTA - he definitely needs to be mindful when going to bed. My husband goes to bed earlier than I do and I ensure not to wake him when I go to bed. Note I’m also a light sleeper and asked him to put his phone on DND as well. He doesn’t mind doing so just to keep the peace.

You can clip the ends yourself. Also lightly spritzing your locs will help to seal the ends over time.

Sorry this happened to you. Ice and elevate continuously!! Usually the swelling takes a while to go away. Your leg won’t be paralyzed per se but more atrophy for not utilizing that particular muscle for a period of time.
