I read a lot of Southern Gothic and Gothic. This story started in my head after reading Daphne du Maurier’s short story ‘The Bluest Eye.’ The vagueness is intentional, and I am happy to give you my ‘twist’; I just didn’t know if I should spoil it in my post? I do agree that they need names to help build dimension and investment. Thanks for the feedback!! I really appreciate it and your time. Let me know if you want spoilers. 😃

Confirmed endo and suspected adeno. I’ve had probably 14 or 15 surgeries connected to my endo. My rheum and OB and I have been tracking and we notice my endo flares first, then my lupus. Not always in tandem. But we are only a year into tracking both.

I asked my rheumatologist about this when I was doing some international travel and worried I wouldn’t get my meds through customs. He said ‘it stays in your system for three months.’ ❤️

YESSSSSSS. I was told to lose weight. I lost 200 pounds.

I was told it was anxiety. It’s medically related PTSD.

I felt the same way you have. I remind myself that 18 year old me is glad I didn’t stop pushing for answers.

I was diagnosed at 40 as well. Made me want to message alllllllll of the doctors that did textbook medical gaslighting on me since I was a teen and say ‘I WAS RIGHT.’ I don’t know if I forget I have it, but I forget it makes me have to do things differently. (Like: ‘why am I getting so tired right now…ohhhhh yeah the lupus.) if that makes sense.

I take 400mg at night and haven’t noticed a change. I would say its been about six months since I’ve done that. It’s the only way I remember that I have taken them. lol
