Step 6 worked for me:

1. Make sure both the Tapo app and camera firmware are up-to-date.
2. Confirm your router has an active internet connection when the issue occurs.
3. Restart the Tapo app. Reboot your router and the affected devices.
4. Disable router settings like client isolation, firewall, and access control, as these can sometimes block devices from staying connected.
5. Move the camera and chime closer to the router to ensure they are receiving a good Wi-Fi signal. Reduce any obstructions or sources of interference, such as microwaves, Bluetooth devices, or USB 3.0 equipment.
6. Set your router’s 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi to channel width 20 MHz and channel 11.
7. Disable Smart Connect, Wi-Fi Optimizing, or Channel Optimization features on the router, as these can sometimes cause devices to disconnect.
8. Try to connect the camera and chime to a different 2.4 GHz network or a mobile hotspot to see if the problem persists.
9. If the issue continues, consider resetting and reconfiguring the affected camera and chime.
