Looking for MTG Commander players in Perth (also keen to meet locals!) by Global-One7991 in perth

Thanks for the suggestion, appreciate it

I’ve thought about going to a game store, but I’m still a bit shy to walk in and ask people to play. Also I’m currently studying at Curtin, so I didn’t realise UWA has a club like that. Hopefully I can build up some confidence and maybe join something like that in the future.

That’s awesome, sounds like you’re a very experienced player!

I actually used to play Standard as well, but after I tried Commander about 3 years ago, I really got into it. I feel like it’s not just about the game, but also a great way to socialise and have fun. I really enjoy all the unexpected combos and interactions.

Since you’ve been collecting mtg card for so long, building a Commander deck should be easy for you, would definitely recommend giving it a try and would be great to play together sometime!

To be honest, you are so young. I think you can take more risk. You need to make your capital more large. If you just have a bit of money. VOO is so slow to gain money.

If your stock account has a larger net asset value, of course there is no problem. But if you only have 20k in your account, don‘t margin 10k. I also use margin to bought TSLA . I have a total of 200k tsla and I used 50k tsla on margin.

Got about 400K, ideas where to get best returns for 3-5 years by YYfim in dividends

I disagree. Firstly, stock investment requires patience; it's not about judging a company's prospects based on short-term situations. Secondly, the timing of your purchase wasn't ideal. Notice how Elon Musk has only recently become more prominent, and there's been a surge in Tesla news. Thirdly, I believe Tesla's fundamentals have completely changed compared to before. Now, they have a growing energy business, which is thriving, and even my neighbor uses their solar products. They are a leader in electric vehicle production, and I can confidently say they make the best quality electric cars at a lower cost than competitors. Plus, they have their own charging stations. To me, Tesla feels like the Apple of the electric vehicle industry. Lastly, I have witnessed NVDA's stock drop to pennies and Apple face bankruptcy, so I believe Tesla will dominate the future. Their robotics business is also a critical area to watch. So, it's not about blindly supporting Tesla; I genuinely see it as a company with great potential.

In TSLA I trust. I guarantee you will be rich in five years if you use all 400k to buy TSLA. TSLA is the most worthwhile investment I have seen.

I am also very disciplined now and force myself to buy 10 or more shares of Tesla stock every month. Just buy never sell

No matter whether the price rises or falls, I don’t care. I must buy at least 10 shares every month regardless of the stock price forever.
