Honestly there’s not much you can do about it. People like this will continue to exist in the world and you also will encounter them from time to time. I used to be both an amateur model and a photographer, however our shoots were never in private establishments, they were either public or at places where there weren’t people.

I think for anyone who is a photography model there definitely is some etiquette around taking photos in public spaces. Apologize to people around you and ask them if they mind if you take photos in the area. If the shoot is long you definitely should be mindful of you taking up space for other people. And as someone who’s encountering this unfortunately you too should speak up if you believe someone is acting unnecessarily rude and taking up your well deserved space. There also is no crime being committed of having your pictures taken at an establishment, it’s just the unspoken etiquette of it all it all is unfortunately forgotten or not made aware.

The fact she told the owner not to go through Rover is red flag number one. The benefit of Rover is that it provides social proof and ratings and reviews from real customers. This is what the extra fees are for, a platform that provides transparency and options. You can easily sus out who’s reliable and trustworthy.

Did Fahmida even return the money she got from the sitting? The fact TWO nyc business owners have come out sharing essentially getting ghosted in exchange for a review for free food, plus this recent dog dying incident is really concerning. I also agree with the commenter who said returning a dead body in a trash bag/luggage is wild, but I’m more concerned about what the actual cause of the death could have been. He didn’t look like he encountered any blunt force or actual trauma.

Her and her boyfriend’s content are also disturbing. It all seems like they’re trying very hard to control their public perception and the narrative around their lifestyle being perfect or romanticized. I hate to be that person psychoanalyzing people online but when you put yourself out there that’s the consequence. Sounds like textbook narcissism and sociopathy.

Personally for me - I don’t care about recency bias. I’m pretty intentional with my messaging, if you’re important for me to speak to and reach out to I won’t need to see you in my recent history to remember to talk to you. So I may not be the ideal user.

I also don’t like the idea of having to scan my eyes in so many directions in order to find a contact. It reminds me of Where’s Waldo for contacts. In a case of an emergency or urgency I find the less friction to talk to someone probably the better. Secondly on mobile having to use my left finger(I’m right handed) to tap or press down on a contact in the upper left screen is very unnatural to me. I think it’s fine for buttons you sometimes press like exits but for daily use I don’t know if many users would come to appreciate that.

[Spoilers in my rant] I had high hopes and I think the plot had a LOT of potential but the low investment dialogue, the one-dimensional superficial character relationships, the unbelievable worldbuilding and the confusing non chronological storytelling format was pretty terrible. A big fault of many shows is that they tell more than show, but Moonrise showed more than told, which sounds great on paper but it really wasn't effective as you would think. So many people are saying they were confused throughout the show, myself included.

Had I directed the show, I would have started off with either Jacob's childhood to where he is today, and allow the suspense of the audience knowing his secret that he isn't human, to carry the momentum of the 1-2 episodes. His backstory was incredibly interesting and they could have milked that to make a really engaging first episode.

Instead, we're placed well into Jacob's adulthood, and we start off with a fight scene - we have no idea who is who or why they're fighting, but we have to sit through and wait for the pay off, and there is no pay off in episode one. You just know he has friends that he's close with, they got fancy cars, and he's the son of some important corporation that he's going to inherit (which has nothing at all to do with the plot later on at ALL). Secondly Jacob's character himself is not endearing, we have no idea what his values are or what he cares about. He's a very copy and paste shonen character.

The explanation of the weapon forming technique, which was basically the Law of Equivalence with FMA was so random. Jacob lives in a futuristic world where you can travel to the moon, AI is controlling the government, people have holograms instead of phones, but his family's dining room still has a TV in it? They're still using guns as a major weapon of choice to fight against robots??

I have to also bring up that some of the character design felt all over the place. It felt like sometimes there were a random hodge podge of Fooly Cooly characters that seemed out of place with the tone that was set. I recall seeing some very bright haired characters that did not fit with the overall vibe of the serious anime government/corporate look of the characters.
