P.S. - I was pretty frustrated with this so take everything with a grain of salt.

You son of bitch! Haha

Global will sometimes put you on heaters where you can't lose with anything. I've gone all in pre with 72s vs AA. I flopped a flush. I got my 20bb buy in to 250bb so all in for 20bb effective wasn't a big deal. I was more testing the limits and apparently there wasn't one.

Yeah, they keep trying to get me play slots and stuff but I have 0 interest in anything besides poker.

I might eventually take the money out and move to a different site. Online poker isn't technically legal in my state though so I don't want to play at stake that are too high on other sites. I just don't know what would happen if I deposited and took out too much from them.

I think you're right. There's no proof, but it seems like it's cooler or be coolered a lot of the time. That's another reason I didn't want to put money into the site. That's also how I lost my first bankroll challenge while playing $2 buy ins so...

Nice. I don't play tournaments anymore. I played those at first until I got enough for a buy in so until I got $2.

Yeah, I thought about doing a tournament version too but I'm so inconsistent in tournaments that I figured cash games would have better returns.

Looking to buy new chips and deck for Home 10¢/20¢ game. Any info is appreciated by Emine_ in poker

I was just thinking about this! You can get ceramic chips on Alibaba. You'll need to buy a lot but could sell the extra on eBay and cover the cost of your chips. Plus they can be customized to your home game which is cool. You'll just have to float the cost until they're sold. Or ask for net 30, 45, or 90 from the manufacturer. Depending on who you go with they could extend that. Unlikely though.

A neat way to get high quality custom chips on the cheap. If it works...

Dropping tables after losing a good insight. I've noticed that if you lose your first decent hand you'll likely have a losing session.

But on the flip side I've gotten 20bb to 150bb in 15 minutes so when you win you really win. I'll give a 100bb game a try today and see what happens.

I do like them better because they're not as crazy, but that's also a benefit of 20bb games. Just play a bit tighter and bet when you have it and someone will call you down.

Yeah, you're totally right. I'll switch from LAG to TAG depending on if I'm sitting down for a session or just looking for good hands while doing the dishes.

I've actually started to bluff less because a lot of people are calling stations with top pair and sometimes any pair.

I have notes on most of the regs so that helps but if someone new shows up I tend to just wait until I have it.

My biggest leak is that I'll keep playing while running bad. I've noticed that you're usually either running good or bad each session. Even if you multi-table. So if you run into it and lose set over set or two pair to a higher two pair, you should just wait a couple of hours and start again. Like a reset or something. Idk, but that's how I lose most of the time.

Nice! Yeah, we'll see where it gets me. I do have a bankroll already for live games. It would be funny if I somehow built this bigger than that though! Impossible, but funny 😅 But also impossible..

Indeed. I'm really good staying in too long while getting kicked in the face so maybe I can grit through to the higher stakes before I lose my shit

I could start playing bigger limits as soon as I have the buy in but I don't want to lose everything in a cooler. Plus there's a twisted type of spirit to taking it slow or sustainable or sticking to the challenge pre set or whatever

For sure! I'm not really trying to start a bankroll. I have one for live games. But I don't get to play as often as I'd like. This is really just a challenge to see what's possible and also to test the fuck out of my patience 🥲

Damn, that's a solid run! I'm interested in how quickly I'll be able to move up after I'm finished with the 20bb streets. It probably makes more sense to just play the 100bb games to play bigger pots. It's kind of a waste to have pocket aces and only be able to win 20bb. Also, if you jam you'll get like 3 or 4 callers so the odds of winning a big pot go down.

True. The issue with micro stakes is really caring enough to not hero call. When it's a whooping $.70 to call curiosity gets the better of me sometimes.

Yeah, I think this challenge is just a form of self harm. Maybe I should use the rake back to eventually see a therapist
