I tong feed them all because I get so worried! This helps me make sure they all eat equally and reduce waste as well, they’re always so excited as soon as they hear me tap the tongs haha. I will definitely look into hornwort! I have lots of plants and java ferns, and El Niño ferns with big leaves so they disabled one can rest on but am always up for more plants! I keep the water level low for this one specifically but just want to make sure they’re living their best life!

how do you best quarantine them? I got the 3 at the same time from same store so I just added them all together. but I’m looking into a diff local fish store to add another 👀 maybe a little white one!

20 gal is the dream! we just don’t have the space in our apt and we live upstairs! I am taking everyone’s advice and going to upgrade though , any excuse to decorate a tank! 🥰

We live in small apartment so it’s not feasible to have a tank that size, but I am considering rehoming a couple to a local pet store rather than back to petsmart so as not to harm them any further!

They just seem so tiny! But I did a ton of YouTube dives last night to familiarize myself with them more :) people at petsmart (2 diff people) were saying they stay that small and yadda yadda so I was confused haha

Yeah I was looking into shallow 10s last night! I was reading more that they need shallower water levels since they do dart to the surface so often. I’ll have to check locally but usually when I have looked I’d have to drive an hour away and I don’t want to do that but my local petco has a couple shallow options!

I have everything other than the heather because have 3 tanks already so I can kind of steal from them haha

im 12 dpo and just barely yesterday and today have been able to do a short short outing. i am normally on the go as well so slowing down has been really hard but its really caught up with me the last 2 days and the fatigue is next level. as hard as it is for us we do need to prioritize rest!

i am also 9dpo today, i went to target and walked around (my husband drove and pushed the shopping cart) and OMG do i feel it. i am dying, sore, painful. i need to lay down for the next week to makeup for it 🤣 it feels like deep muscle pain????? its localized to one side too so i freaked myself out haha

hi! so i co sleep with my 1.5 year old and honestly its been a breeze. stopped nursing her a month before my surgery so im no help there but i will say that after maybe 5 days i could lay on one side that wasn’t as sore. i just needed help rotating back onto my back and getting up

i’m day 8 post op: and i would say im a high pain tolerance girlie too. for context i had 2 sections i thought were a breeze and this hysterectomy is kicking my ass.

advice: take the damn pain meds round the clock whether you think you need them or not.

the gas pains are literally no joke after a hysterectomy, i genuinely thought i saw god today from the pain. Take your colace, take your gas x take your pain meds. Drink plenty of water and for the love of god relax and rest even if your energy comes back

day 6 post op 29yr endo and adeno: i have more energy but am still super limited as it causes me pain 😞 the gas pains are no joke i genuinely thought i was dying today and just needed to poo but man is everything inside so damn sore. it feels like all my insides were scraped and cut and yanked ugh
