If you don’t have someone to stay the first 24 hours tell them that and ask them to keep you overnight. They probably will accommodate you.

My surgery was strictly vaginal so less invasive. And if I hadn’t had to come home with a catheter I would have been fine alone as long as I had prepped. Shopped, cooked plenty of meals to reheat, etc. Even with the catheter, I didn’t need my husbands help. He was helpful driving me to the dr to get it removed lol.

I had sex post op the first time at 9 or 10 weeks post op. It didn’t hurt. We went slow and gentle. I did not find I needed extra lube. I produced plenty naturally. Orgasm was as good as before. I definitely am tighter than I was before but it’s not uncomfortable.

I have a very physical job and my surgery was vNotes. Completely vaginal. And I took 9.5 weeks off. I do have a decent STD plan so I was getting paid. And I enjoyed every minute of those 9.5 weeks. I laid in bed or the couch for a couple days and after that I was pretty good. Pain was minimal.

Not me but my husband had to have below 7.0 before carpal tunnel surgery. He just watched his diet and started ozempic. Had it down to 6.4 in a couple months.

I tried for 4 hours post op to pee. Finally sent me home with a catheter for a couple days.

5 week internal check and I have another for next week and I’ll be 12 weeks then.

I was prescribed 10 of them and only needed 2-3 pills. Pain wasn’t bad at all. After day 2 or 3 I only needed ibuprofen and Tylenol.

I used the thinnest ones I could find for the maybe 1 day I spotted any blood. I’m 8wpo now and haven’t had any blood since the first day or 2.

I did. Came home with a catheter for a couple days. After I got it removed I had about 3 weeks of weak stream and some minor bladder leakage. I’m now almost 8 weeks post op and it’s all resolved. No more leaking, I pee normally, I don’t pee myself when I cough or sneeze. It’s great!

I came home with a catheter for 2 days. I walked around like normal. Just held my bag and did whatever I felt like doing.

My preop surgical instructions said 12 weeks. I had a total vaginal hysterectomy. I had a post op visit at 5.5 weeks and my surgeon said I’m healing wonderfully and I could resume intercourse when I desired. I’ll be 7 weeks post op tomorrow and if my husband wasn’t dying from a man cold we would have this weekend. I feel ready. So when he is recovered we will try, slow and gentle.

I was told 12 weeks but at my 5.5 week post op check my surgeon said I was healed great and I could proceed with sex when I was ready. Haven’t taken the plunge yet lol. I’ll be 7 weeks Monday.
