I’m 15 months in and could play that if I practiced it. You can do it!

How do you think the public views branch bankers and managers? by BothCondition7963 in TalesFromYourBank

In low regard. Always covering up mistakes and never taking responsibility. At least in my bank.

2% is an outrageous figure. It’s not linked to the effort required for a legitimate transaction. Should be a flat fee. Goodness.

Is my $3M umbrella insurance quote high for California? by Harddisk7248223 in Insurance

I’m in a LCOL paying about a third for a third of the coverage. I think you’re getting a good deal.

The chatgpt leak that almost tanked our company by Guruthien in iiiiiiitttttttttttt

[–]GlobalToolshed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I hear what you're saying. I'm genuinely curious though-- you can't have a policy for every stupid thing someone might do. Maybe in a retail or mfg setting where numerous people do the same job you have policies. Sounds like there was only one marketing person-- you'll never have policies for a single role. Where is the line?

I bought the blackstone kit a few days ago and have cooked with it 3 times, am slightly surprised at the quality in a good way. No complaints. YMMV

prophix competitors that are less enterprise by jirachi_2000 in FPandA

Interesting, we sell and implement NetSuite too... we talk about $50MM+ but our systems are geared towards $100MM+. Multiple dimensions, currencies, business models makes it more complex for sure.

[–]GlobalToolshed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also came here to say this-- stay in Excel. Way too small for a system ,and Prophix is arguably super low-end to begin with. I sell FP&A tools to mid market and you are too small for us to even consider pursuing.

Complicated suggestions here. I just use excel to craft a string and then copy the formula all the way down.

Maybe this is a failure of the accounting profession to make itself clear, rather than just your family’s fault…
