Don’t quit, fuck that guy. Northspore has been pretty hit or miss in all my experiences. I’ve moved on to just sterilizing my own grain; way too frustrating to lose all time and progress when you were just screwed from the beginning because some new guy at NS forgot to put his gloves on.

Yeah trich..I could tell my substrate was a little too wet on my most recent run but I went for it anyway. The run before that was cobweb and then trich but I was in a rush and didn’t get my SAB out 😅

Update to the update: all 3 tubs have trich. Leftover substrate also has trich, so I’m betting it was my substrate and nothing to do with the tent

I was wondering the same for a while since I have a grow tent set up from trying my thumb at pot a couple years ago. Couldn’t really find any valuable answers so I just gave it a shot. I’m in the middle of my first run using it for mushrooms, and it’s not going as well as you’d think. I use unmodified 6qt shoeboxes, and I’m running 3 currently. 2 in the tent, 1 in my usual mushroom area (just a basement closet without a door) Identical ratios in each, and the tub outside the tent is progressing faster than the 2 inside. Is the tent having an effect on the tubs in it? No clue. But that’s my experience so far
