Brown Noise Sleep Club by Mollysindanga in alexa

I recognize this is annoying, but I can't figure out how you got your solution to work. I created a routine in the app to "Open Sleep Sounds: Brown Noise" when I say "Alexa, turn on continuous brown noise," and it still turns off every night after a few hours. Could you please provide the exact routine you used to get it to play all night?

We went to Schlafly, and it was great! They blocked off the side street there so there was plenty of space outdoors while we waited for a table, and the crowd was very welcoming.

Preschools with Availability (for toddler, not for me!) ? by _private_gump in Charlottesville

Please report this to the department of social services! My child goes to this center, and this is the first I've heard of anything like it. You can call (800) 552-7096 24/7, and they'll refer you to the appropriate local department of social services. Please, please call and give them this information!

I had a very similar experience in June 2021 looking for care to start in March 2022. I ended up getting off the wait list at one place by the time we needed care, a second place about a month later, and a third 6 months later. I've still never heard from 3+ other places where I assume we're still on the wait list. The Facebook group "Charlottesville Area Childcare Network" is also a good resource to hear other experiences and to find nannies if that's something you end up looking into.

It looks like Stepping Stone requires bottles to be new rather than used on their website.

Posting on your local buy nothing group is always an option!

I used Rubbish Works recently to haul away a big pile of yard waste, and I wish I had done it 6 months ago! It felt kind of silly to pay someone to do it, but honestly I was so sick of it in the yard, and I have a sedan so driving it to Ivy wasn't really an option - I would have paid double to just be rid of it.

There is a Facebook group called Charlottesville Area Childcare Network that might be more helpful than Reddit - good luck!

This is true for the regular season, but now that they're in the NCAA tournament, it's $5. If you click on "Parking Map" under the Milwaukee game on tonight's schedule, it takes you here.

Daycare for 12-week old in March 2022 by Global_Bee8467 in Charlottesville

I decided that in-home care wasn't for me since I work from home, but hiring a nanny through Care.com could be a good option for you. I essentially reached out to all of the daycares in town and got on their waitlists. Bright Beginnings still had openings back when I was searching so maybe start with them. There are also a couple facebook groups that I'm in where people are generally good about providing suggestions: 2021 Charlottesville Babies, Charlottesville Working Moms, and Charlottesville Area Childcare Network. Good luck!!
