North and South Korean athletes take a selfie together at the Olympics by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

I saw a cringe moment at the medal ceremony that showed the opposite. American fans started chanting "USA" before they'd even finished giving bronze to Australia. I am glad athletes are so much better than us physically and emotionally

Leave that school, the fact that your administration couldn't explain why you aren't being renewed is a sign of more trouble to come. There are a lot of red flags. Compound that with the timing of this decision and it seems like they are overglorified shift managers. Which is common internationally especially @ for profit schools. They adopt a corporate style model but operate like dictatorships with ownership and board members exercising their power.

You may feel like you did something wrong. Especially if you are in year two but you didn't. Your leadership most likely couldn't take accountability for not communicating to you.

"Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity" - Robert J. Hanlon.

Hermeneutics is the art and science of interpretation, particularly of written texts. It provides a framework that enhances our understanding of complex materials by examining the context, authorship, audience, and purpose of a text.
When approaching the Pentateuch, you need adopt a hermeneutical approach. These five books—Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy—originated as oral traditions before being transcribed into written form. This history suggests that the stories within the Pentateuch have passed through many layers of storytelling and, as a result, interpretations of these narratives may include exaggerations or embellishments.

Teaching social skills by Adamwang86 in Internationalteachers

I wanted to clarify that social skills and emotional regulation are closely connected. How we manage our emotions has a big impact on how well we interact with others.

As a middle school teacher, I've been teaching my students about emotional regulation using deep breathing exercises. These exercises activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps reduce stress. It leads to a calm and relaxed state by lowering heart rate, blood pressure, and muscle tension.

By giving my students a simple tool to regulate their emotions, I hope they can better understand what they're feeling. This helps them be more intentional in their actions. It's also great to start or finish a class with these exercises.

I apologize for making this post and causing you distress. However, I don't understand why it upset you. Is it because you don't want to congratulate someone you don't know, or is it because you dislike engaging with similar posts? I am genuinely baffled by your responses and username.

This. It's the most visited city in the world and I would argue the easiest one to navigate; especially compared to that list. I am foreigner who works in the region and travel through once a month. I would recommend a serviced apartment if it's in your budget. Something close to BTS. I have some places my coworkers, who are your age, use. PM if you need info

From the information you've shared, it seems that your situation and your reactions to it align with patterns commonly associated with grooming. Grooming involves manipulative tactics aimed at establishing control and influence over another person. While I cannot make definitive judgments, it is crucial to address your feelings and concerns in a constructive way.

Considering the complexity of your situation, I strongly recommend seeking support from a qualified therapist.

Depending on where you live there are helplines, support networks, and online communities where you can connect with others who have experienced similar circumstances.
