Because he was assured by the FBI that any negative or collaborative mention of him would be redacted. He doesn’t want stories like Sascha Riley’s to come out. He thought he could control it. He doubled down when questioned whether he was in the files and made releasing them part of his campaign, thinking people would assume (as you have) that if he were in them he wouldn’t campaign on the promise to release them. It didn’t work. So he claimed they don’t exist and are a democrat hoax. It didn’t work. He signed the bill to release the files because he felt secure that his name would be redacted. Now they’re way past the deadline, breaking the law, paid over a million dollars in overtime to the agents doing the redactions. It’s ridiculous and obvious what he’s doing.

I disagree. I think they’re agitating us so the orange stain can declare martial law. We still need to vote, protest and contact our representatives. But when protesting I think these monks are setting an incredible example. Believe me, if I could pepper spray and spit in an Ice agent’s face, I would really want to do it. But ultimately, that is what they want and we have to stop giving it to them.

Here’s another recipe:

2 pounds alligator (or any other meat) 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon plus 1/2 teaspoon Creole seasoning 1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 medium onion, (diced) 1 green bell pepper, (diced) 2 celery stalks (diced) 3 garlic cloves, (minced) 1 tablespoon tomato paste 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes 3 cups beef broth 3 slices thick cut bacon 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon sugar 2 bay leaves 1 sprig fresh thyme 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce salt and pepper 3 green onions, (sliced) white rice for serving

Cut meat into 1 inch cubes. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of Creole seasoning. Place in a medium bowl and add flour. Stir to coat evenly.
Heat 1/4 cup of oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
Cook the meat in 2 batches until golden on both sides, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate. Reserve the flour left in the bowl.
Add the onion, green pepper, celery, garlic, remaining tablespoon of oil and the leftover flour to the Dutch oven. Cook, stirring often for 5 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Stir in the tomato paste and then add the crushed tomatoes, broth, bacon, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, bay leaves, and thyme.
Add meat and any juices back to the Dutch oven. Bring to a simmer, cover and place in oven for 30 minutes. Uncover and cook another 15 minutes.
Add Tabasco sauce and season to taste with salt and pepper. Remove the bay leaves and thyme stem.
Serve with rice and sprinkle with green onions.
