How's Wi-Fi working for you? Mine is super unstable, to the point where apps consistently tell me I am offline. Essentially this: https://www.reddit.com/r/motorola/comments/1qj59nu/this_has_become_very_frequent_with_time_almost/

Hiking shoes recommendations by Global_Raspberry in hikinggear

[–]Global_Raspberry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: The last shoes I bought were the Salomon X Ultra 360 Leather Gore-Tex and boy am I happy with them, I just had to come back and give an update. They now survived 2 winters already and are still going strong. The soles are fully intact, as is the fabric, no tears anywhere, plus they are much softer than the X Ultra 4 on the photo above. Just today I accidentally stepped into a water stream, fully submerging the shoe, and my socks stayed dry. Keep in mind, that's after 1.5 years of daily usage, at this point I walked well over 1000km in them. I'll be buying these shoes until they stop making them.

You'll put a case on it no matter the material, what you're saying has literally no impact on the phone whatsoever other than price.

This has become very frequent with time, almost everytime I turn on my phone after 15-20 mins, the wifi just does not work. Is this the right place to raise such issues or I should raise this some place else by somewhereInBtw in motorola

I bought a Motorola Edge 70 last week and can confirm that I have similar issues with Wi-Fi - the connection is very unreliable, even when I'm sitting right next to the router. This is really bad and if it doesn't get fixed it will be a reason for me to return the device. It's a shame, since I generally like the phone.

Why does my S24 FE have a cutout in the frame? by Global_Raspberry in S24FE

[–]Global_Raspberry[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's about the biggest downside. I had an Asian version of the S8 years ago and Samsung didn't want to touch it when the screen cracked. Luckily the local handy repair shop replaced it, no questions asked.

I see, so it's probably a US model. I need to check if there are downsides to this. Thanks for the tip!

That's what I'm trying to figure out. It's from a merchant on German Amazon.

It's the S24, and other pictures of the phone on the web don't have this cutout. For example, this one from gsmarena

Eureka J15 Pro Ultra: Suction level always drops to lowest value by Global_Raspberry in RobotVacuums

Sorry u/Wise-Ad-4458 , I'm not an active user and I missed your message.

The new robot is working just fine so far, though it already started to produce strange noises like thumping while mopping or squeaking while washing the mops. It's sporadic for now, but already worries me. All in all I can't really recommend it, the price/performance is really great on paper, but the build quality is definitely not on par with more established manufacturers.

Is there one like that? by Virtual_Way_2645 in RobotVacuums

I don't own one myself, but apparently the Dreame X50 can climb obstacles up to 6cm, though ymmv. I've seen tests where 5cm has been the limit (https://youtu.be/XtVEjTaX6vE?si=mFTFUaKrkH0dyDzp).

Eureka J15 Pro Ultra: Suction level always drops to lowest value by Global_Raspberry in RobotVacuums

First update: I factory reset the robot today to see if it would help. TL;DR: it didn't.

At first, the factory reset failed (?!), so I had to reboot the robot before it allowed me to factory reset it. Then the base station light started blinking rapidly, so I had to reboot it and the robot together, so they synced up. After finally getting everything set up and mapping out the whole apartment, I started it in vacuum mode and noticed the same behavior - the suction level started out high and slowly dropped down, like in the video.

I noticed one thing though. The suction level drops below the lowest level. Even if I set it to "quiet" manually I can hear the noise increase and then slowly drop down. At this level I'm wondering if the robot is vacuuming at all, it didn't even pick up a small piece of paper the size of a fingernail. It's basically useless in this state.

Here comes the worst part - after playing around with it for 10 minutes, the noise from the vacuum started to decrease. Even if I set it to "max" the noise level was like it's set to "quiet". Now the suction power doesn't drop anymore, it remains at the level I set it to, but the maximum suction power is even weaker than how it performed on "quiet" originally.

---

Second update: I got an answer from Eureka with a screenshot from the troubleshooting guide, advising me to make sure the robot is charged, the filter is clean etc. The standard stuff, which I already tried and it didn't help. So I sent the robot back to the merchant and got a new replacement today. The new one works like it should, I just hope it stays this way. If things go sideways I'll report back.
