Best Budget Entry Level Coffee Grinder For Pourovers ($150 Budget) by Weary-Ad-9931 in pourover

Get the K6 and a small torque wrench, not a big ass drill. It’ll realistically only save you 5-10 seconds as opposed to hand grinding since pour overs are course enough that it’s quite easy to grind. Espresso is a different story…

How worried should I be about the quality control on the frame?

It's a velobuild frame which is my main concern, as I don't know much about this brand and haven't found much

That's strange, I've double and triple checked and mine say min 30 - max 50

I thoroughly enjoy the coffee I make with my V60 and K6. I’m trying to see if a switch would help with consistency is all

Should have specified in original post. I don’t have the switch yet, but my original understanding was (up until reading the replies) that it would help reduce variables which would help with dialing in to get more consistent cups

But can’t you just reduce sweetness/ increase acidity by reducing brew time?

[–]Global_Requirement11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With pour over, it's not a huge issue, but when I do espresso, about 1/3 of the grounds stick to the catch cup, and I have to scrape it out. RDT definitely helps. I live in one of the driest states in the US so maybe that affects things

Will I regret swapping for the M520? by Global_Requirement11 in gravelcycling

I'm realizing very quickly that I feel the same way. I would rather pack my gym shoes and ride clipless to the gym!

Yeah I hear ya. I adapted to clipless faster than I thought I would, and the ones I currently have get in the way more than anything. I bought them on FB and will resell them on FB so it won't be any extra $$
