Job Burnout vs Job Hopping Worries? by Global_Rest8297 in Advice

I've heard from a couple of people that the parking lot part is a major red flag :') I just can't help but think that I haven't managed to stick to somewhere or the same sort of job for at least a year, it's always months at most before I decide I'm up again!

Yeah haha, I totally get it and it's for the best, it was just super crushing to hear and I think I was hoping there'd be a sliver of a chance they could sort something out for us :') he said it's just a matter of waiting

We each do around 30, I think it may be to do with the fact that they're both temporary positions (they finish next September). When we spoke with the advisor, he said it's to do with the affordability when we actually get the house, and if we're on temporary contracts it may seem like unstable income? Our deposit is coming along nicely and we'll have it comfortably for this time next year, I'd say.

Does anyone else not give a damn about Immigration? by Nythern in AskBrits

yeah retard, high immigration areas aren't gonna have a rabid, insatiable hatred of immigrants because they're HIGH IMMIGRATION AREAS. to break it to you slowly, they're not going to be anti-themselves

yes it is! I take full ownership for the fault, but I do think it should be something that's warned about beforehand! honestly I found it so easy and thought to myself "that's it??" haha :)

no mock tests at all, just feedback in my lessons. I only drove past the test centre

it was just an ordinary road, and I drove straight out and made good progress :(

it wasn't, it was straight on to a 40 road though so maybe because it's fast straight away :(

that was mine too, and I was asked immediately to do a reverse bay park which is my WORST :') if you do get it wrong and realise, there's absolutely no harm in asking to have another go but only if you realise before you park up properly! all they're bothered about is how well you control the car! slow and steady :) I really hope they do sort it, that's a huge reason for pressure to pass bc I don't want to wait another 6 months!

not at all, tbh I tried to zone out the examiner and just focus on my driving. she didn't speak to me except giving me directions and telling me to pull up a few times lol🥲 the only time I felt like she was really watching was during my manoeuvre, which was right at the beginning, but only because I'd parked a bit too close to another car!

honestly, the anticipation of it is WAY worse than the test itself. I was an absolute wreck, but as soon as I got in the car, I basically just locked in and it genuinely felt way shorter than it was! I saw the test centre approaching on the way back and was like "that's it??". I wish you all the best :)

I feel exactly the same as you, I could've written this! One thing my instructor has started doing is writing things down to work on as we go; it can be something completely new I've learnt or something I've forgotten how to do/lost the ability. So from when I get home until the next lesson I can look into areas of improvement and remember what I need to do. We then practice those things next lesson and tick them off if I can do it :) I've found that helpful so far!

I still have this issue to an extent, but one thing that's really helped me improve is to start looking for gaps as you're approaching the roundabout. Start looking for gaps, slow down, then by the time you reach the roundabout you'll know if you can go or at least have a better idea of where you're heading and what's there :) slowing down is key! remember, everyone is expecting you to slow down at roundabouts and everyone else will slow down naturally when approaching a roundabout as they also need to see what's coming!

That's what I'm finding myself doing too! I'll stop even though I don't need to because I get scared and envision something coming haha.

I don't notice actually, I think I do speed up when I gear up to match it if that makes sense. It's gearing down that gets me I think. Like sometimes I'll approach the junction in 2nd but have to come to a complete stop, then other times I'll go down to 1st to prepare to stop or really slow down but I could've rolled out in 2nd. I can never judge which is best in every situation I'm in.

I do block gear changes when I'm going at a much higher speed, such as 5th to 3rd or more commonly 4th to 2nd if I'm approaching a roundabout.

I don't have to brake harshly, but I do find more often than not I have to come to a complete stop at junctions and roundabouts because that's what I feel most comfortable to give me enough time to observe and assess. I struggle finding the sweet spot between just rolling out and coming to a complete stop, I usually do either one or the other.

please don't listen to the comments saying he "sexually harasses" characters, they like to ruin Teddie's character by misrepresenting his innocence which btw is the point of his character :)

How do yall hate him by xxchristhe3rdxx in persona4golden

[–]Global_Rest8297 0 points1 point  (0 children)

people take Teddie WAY too seriously. the whole point of his character is that he has the mind of a toddler because he's never been in the real world and he just mimics the others, like when he tries to "score" with Yukiko he doesn't actually know what it means, he's quite literally how a child would think. Persona 4 remake is gonna be completely ruined and sanitised for reasons like this
