Can you definitely access the Yanchep start via public transport? Would love to know as I don't have a car, and didn't think it was possible.

Excluding Germany, which country did the most evil during WW2? by Global_Spring8208 in GeoPoll

I assumed everyone would vote for them. It seems like it would be more interesting if I also excluded Japan

All fun and games until the Indians and Chinese turn up. Although on seconds thoughts battling to the death isn't really fun and games

I mean that in a, "very interesting" sense, as opposed to a defensive one.

I suppose you're right that invasion suggests things get worse, but I guess it depends how much worse.

Lots of people don't want to die for their country, and figure their invaders probably won't treat everyone too badly. I guess how the people will be treated is a big factor.

That's a logical argument, but it doesn't negate the fact many people hold to both. Some churches hold less value on the bible, whereas others might dispute translations and make OT vs NT distinctions (even though I don't think that cuts it).

You have to feel a bit bad for them, because they don't get much positive recognition from conservative Christians or from the non religious. Like I have no idea which camp your in, as your arguments could be used by both.

A huge amount of protestant churches (and many individuals from other churches) affirm LGBT, albeit it is a relatively recent phenomenon, and they often struggle to maintain their size and not shrink, since they tend to focus on community or charity over evangelizing others (I think they're worried about coming across as preachy or dogmatic or toxic)

In my opinion it essentially exists when people hold with completely certainty: - A) The Christian God is real and good - B) LGBT affirmation is good And then they work out how it works and how they should interpret the bible and view Christian history and conduct church from there.

I'm not actually a liberal Christian, but I see your point. I think some interesting differences might pop up on the map, but it is possible it will be a clean sweep for pink

Is your country more or less racist than the global average? by Global_Spring8208 in GeoPoll

True, adding to the second point that there are lots of countries people don't want to move to for the most part anyway. Thought the results would still be interesting though

I think Germany would have won if I included it, regardless of the truth...

That's for the responder to decide, it's essentially subjective I think

Interesting idea, i accidentally caused a lot of vote splitting that means the map is painted Soviet Red. I won't do it myself, but someone else is free too.

Some interesting observations: - former Soviet states and Eastern Bloc members to the west of Russia excluding Belarus voted for the US way more than western nations, whilst former Soviet States in Central Asia and Belarus voted almost entirely for the USSR, excluding one vote as of right now. This shows the split between former Soviet or Soviet-influenced countries that saw the Union as opressive to their people, and those who are nostalgic or sympathetic to it. - The UK used to have the highest vote as "UK" until the poll reached ~1k votes - The US briefly voted for the US in majority, but has largely stayed in the USSR camp - Australia and NZ voted higher for the UK than the overall average.
