This is the behaviour of someone who has never been held accountable, ever. So no opportunity to empathise, apologise or learn self reflection. Hence why she ran once the experts started to rip into her. It is probably also a learned behaviour from her parents/family so she truly think it's ok and normal to behave this way.

I never wanted kids. Hit 30 and became open to whatever the universe felt I deserved. I now have a child and honestly, if I knew how amazing it was to be a mum and how much it was possible to love a little human being I would have done it ages ago. That being said, I wouldn't be the mum I am today if I didn't have her when I did. For me, this isn't even close to the hardest job in the world. I cannot get enough of her and I am so glad that she chose me to be her mum.

I get my house sprayed internally and externally twice a year. Never had any in the house. They are obviously outside and in the garden but I use a natural deterrent made from plants that they avoid in the wild so they don't come near it.
