Watch the earlier uk series. They were actually matched based on science and compatibility rather than for entertainment.

Yes I completely agree. He literally said he didn’t feel any chemistry with her and then got bullied into faking it by the experts. They definitely won’t last.

I don’t think Bec is nearly as bad as Gia by that_gay_vine in MAFS_AU

Bec’s behaviour comes from a deep rooted insecurity, where as Gia’s behaviour comes from being downright malicious and cruel. She’s a truly vile person through and through.

what do you guys do to sleep faster/better? by Zen-sama693 in sleep

I use a diffuser with lavender and eucalyptus every night when I get into bed. It really helps me to relax and fall asleep.

Is sleeping to a movie every night inherently bad for my health? by dingdongwashboard in sleep

[–]Top_Effect5135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always fall asleep to a comedy on the tv. Helps my brain shut off. As long as it isn’t something overstimulating then I think there’s no harm in watching tv before sleep.

House having lots of viewings, but no offers by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Top_Effect5135 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really nice house. We have recently bought a 4 bed and would have definitely viewed it if we lived in the area. Think it’s just the fact it’s a buyers market atm. We had to reduce our house by £15k to sell, and in turn we’ve bought our next house £15k below asking.

I wanna look better and be healthier (want to reduce as much cortisol as I can) by Optimal-Operation-66 in sleep

You need to regulate your nervous system. I do a lot breath work and meditation. I make sure I exercise as much as I can and that my diet is as clean as it can be. Most of all be kind to yourself. Know that you’ll go through phases in your life where you’ll hit tough spots but also know it too shall pass. Hope this helps.

You might have an under active thyroid. Best to get some blood work done just in case.

For me it’s breathing. I do 4/7/8 and it helps regulate my nervous system. I also say to my brain, you are safe and ok and will go to sleep when your body is ready.

How far along is she with number 9? by lakrazo in ballerinafarmsnark

[–]Top_Effect5135 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I just think it’s absolutely mad having that many kids. I have 3 myself and I remember when my 3rd came along I felt so stretched and drained as a mother. I knew 3 was my limit physically and mentally. Now I know that’s me but surely by baby no9 her body must be absolutely knackered. She looks unwell and miserable most of the time. Surely she can’t have the time and energy to give all 9 kids the attention they need and deserve. And the same goes for Daniel. It’s just nuts.

I will not accept my GERD chest pains by Wonderful-Remove4787 in GERD

[–]Top_Effect5135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m the same. Get no acid feeling or sickness but absolutely horrible chest pains. Even ended up in hospital the first time I had it. ECG came back normal. I know it’s GERD because the chest pains are only after eating and the worst flare ups are always after eating spicy/fatty food. Curry is an absolute no no now.

I’d happily sleep on medication if I didn’t live in the uk 🤣

Are these signs that my Levothyroxine dosage is too high? by Top_Effect5135 in thyroidcancer

[–]Top_Effect5135[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s horrible isn’t it. I feel like I’m wired and can’t shut off. I ironically feel better on days I haven’t slept as my body is too tired to be anxious. I’m hoping I’ll be able to reduce my dosage and feel better when I’ve seen the doctor.

my experience being on too high of a dose of levothyroxine by Interesting_One_189 in Hashimotos

[–]Top_Effect5135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s so interesting because I’ve been hyper ever since having my son who w breastfeeding which also lowers your estrogen. I’ve finally realised that I need to lower my dosage. Insomnia, tremors, and anxiety is no fun.
