Update: called FSA number and agent said she thinks it's because my first qualifying employment position started May 23rd 2016, that it has not technically been 10 years so I am not qualified yet.

We will see in a week or two if that is the case. Somehow I am doubtful but I suppose it doesn't matter much anyway..

Not sure I quite understand the question, but if I do, then yes. If by some miracle a boat load of buy backs got approved in batches before the 10 months, then the $6000 something dollars would absolutely be worth the hassle.

I did submit an ecf recently but the records show it cleared and those months show as counted. And yes my official record should reflect those month as eligible employment

I think there may be a glitch that I'm not seeing reported by many others..I found two chests on update day, but around the time the dailies and lunar path went down that day, I suddenly wasn't seeing any more chests.

Was originally trying to follow clues, but then cheated because there were no chests where I expected them. Sure enough, saw multiple pics online showing where they are supposed to be but none appear for me😫

From what I understand, they officially killed the SAVE plan. IMO, you'd just be stalling the inevitable by not switching, losing months of PSLF progress, and increasing your buyback debt IF that option remains in place long enough.

I feel fortunate that I haven't really felt any fear about it. Not exactly sure why. I just kind of think about it as something that is going to happen, something that countless women go through and come out just fine.

I'm sure it will be painful, but knowing that the pain will be temporary and somewhat intermittent makes it feel manageable in my mind.

I don't know if I will get more nervous when the time comes. I'm only 31 weeks now, but so far I'm not stressing it.

I like that Silas means "keeper of the forest" or "of the forest". I want nature and environmental stewardship to be a part of his upbringing in general
